Hi guys, just like to find out. On average, how many times did u apply for BTO before getting it? We applied once for balance flats. Now trying for BTO. But also looking at Ec. But the wait is so long!

Wow. Awesome. Cos I have a friend who applied like 5times. And had to purchase a resale ultimately. But between Ec and BTO, should we be prudent and go for BTO or just splurge and spend our saving on an Ec?

I guess it really depends on luck sometimes? I've know nuts about EC so can't really advise anything on that.
but i guess, ultimately, it's your personal preference? EC still belongs to HDB right? what's the difference between that and other condos?

Haha. We also looking at waterwoods. Location really good. Walking distance to in laws.

haha yes ii chose brooks really becos ii dont like green... but glad ii got a unit at the block just opposite the lrt station of damai... super short walking distance... htb and ii went recce and there is a small NTUC fairprice opposite damai lrt and clinic, bakery, hair salon and coffeeshop!

Re: Waterwoods EC

EC is usually priced approx 20% cheaper than private condominium. After 5 years, it becomes semi-privatised and you can sell to Singaporean/PR. After 10 years, it becomes fully privatised, meaning you can also sell to foreigners.

Mine is about 8-9 storey high... Hopefully will compete by 2015 if not 2016 latest.

i run past there 3 times weekly..
erm i think in 2011 also ba.. i chose my flat in sep/oct like that..
