Brides over 30

Aiyo,
getting married over 30 means there are more to be done to look my best on my BIG day.

Well, there is this dark patch that surfaced 1 year ago on the left side of my face and the number of moles on my face can't stop growing...they said it's genetic but I know it's due to the long hours under the sun (how to wear nice bikini and hide under the umbrella?)

Whatever. I can't reverse the damage but I wish I can do something about it. I want to have porcelain skin without blemish on my wedding day - even though it only last me that day, I will be happy.

I heard there are lasers that can help me but there are some many places offering these services - whom to trust? And if I go to the wrong place then there goes my face...my wedding in Dec, very near already cannot afford to make mistake...biang ...I hope I can find some answers with this forum

My sister had multiple moles removed and now her skin is flawless!

After the laser I saw her on the same day, it was super scary. It was also very disgusting with deep holes on her face. Yucks, almost vomit

But after a few days, the holes seemed to close up like miracle and after 3 weeks, even the red dots began to disappear.

I heard she did it with Dr Vanessa Phua...you can google for the details

I am also getting married in Oct.
Been busy with the preparation and my new home, until all the pimples and dark circle all come to me..

Double eyelid I know!

Plastic Surgeon Dr C. Tham is not bad, my cousin was there to balance her double eyelid. She was borned with only one double eyelid so had to sew the other one to balance up.

Dr Vanessa one is about hundreds, my sis is overseas now so ive to ask her when she comes back next week

Hi ladies, you shd check out ageLOc featured in women's weekly this month issue. I'm using it, my mum and muminlaw also using! Its been great! What I like is that its simple, cos we use it like cleanse, tone, then apply future serum, then moisturiser! Its practical, yet the technology is so advanced that it can address 125 genes called the YGC(youth gene cluster) and reset them, thus correcting 8 signs of aging! I use it with Galvanic spa. I think everyone shld use it and 'renovate' our look to a younger one without any lasers, surgery or botox! Its an amazing scientific discovery!!! Now they are still having promo for the secret of youth package, i call this a reno package that transform your skin to a younger you in 3 mths! Its worth it, better than signing spa package! You can PM if you want to experience this technology!!

Dark patches (aka freckles) as a results of too much sun exposure can be cured by IPL. I've personally tried it and it works wonders. Though will need a few time to completely removed it.

Cost me about $300 per session. You will see the patch becomes ligther after 1 session.

Hope this helps

I lasered my freckles... but after about 3 years, my freckles are back. And my skin became more sensitive after the lasering....

I'm planning to have dermal filler done to my laugh lines. Any doctor to recommend? Is it necessary to see a dermalogist or just a GP who also practice aesthetic procedures like those at Northeast clinic, Tan Teoh Clinic etc?

Hi Nov Bride,

my personal advice is not to use doctors at the neighbourhood for aesthetic stuff.

Especially if it is your first time.

Try popular doctors around town. Although they are slightly more expensive, i think it is worth it.

I did mine in Feb for my wedding in March 2012 with Dr Vanessa at Lucky Plaza because I had really deep laugh lines and looked mature. She was very delicate and was very experienced. She was also recommended by one of my friends who tried her skills before.

I was told that the filler could only last for few months but until now, my laugh lines still not visible... I think the doctor has good techniques. Very important
