Boy & Girl sleep in separate room

When should we let our boy and girl sleep in separate room? during their teens ? if no extra room, is it okay for them to sleep in same room during their teenage yrs?

When we r young, our poor parent can't afford to let us have our own room. I share room with my sis n bro & we grew up perfectly normal n happy. So I guess it is ok to share a room.

My parents also can't afford big house, we are staying in 3 room flat and I used to share the same room with my brother till 25 years old and then married off.And most important, we are so close because we can share our secrets every night. Btw, our mum does not allow us to close the door to sleep.

Sleep without closing door seem to hv no privacy. Do u hv children now? follow your mum's way of not allowing your children not to close door

Now my 2 girls sleep in 1 room and 2 boys in another room. And they dun close their doors unless the air-con is on.
