Average photoshoot top-up costs

Hi hi!

Can share with me how much you guys spent on topping up on your photoshoot photos?

I just went to select my wedding photos and have shortlisted 190pics. My BS told me that I can take all my pics plus all the originals at $6k. I almost fell off my chair when I hear that! My friends around me usually top up another $1k for additional pics.

I am contemplating to downsize my selection but want to know if this price is the market rate or are they overcharging me?

Any advise? Thx...

I topped up 1k for mine

to be honest, u need to cut down really, mine was almost 120 after first round of selection and I find it too excessive already

For me, my package of $3100 entitled me to 70 photos.. I only top up 4 photos which cost me another $100. Selection is really tedious. Very hard to select 70 photos out of 650 photos.

Now total damage is $3200.

My photographer gives back all the photographer he takes . We didn;t have to top up.

Dear all,

This is an experience I'd like to share during my photo selection.

We showed no interest to top-up any pix or to buy back all. In the end, my bs offer us $800 for 100+pix (not included my 20pix which i've selected).

We snapped bout 120+ pix. Initially they offered us $1000 to buy back all. Then i told them we'd like to buy back all.. but we dun've the ability to buy back all cuz everythin is on budget.. wedding lar, to buy hdb lar.. den they reduce $200 and offered us $800. In da end, we bargained that if they willin to throw in anothr 20"x24" portrait.. we may considered.. however if they willin to throw in anothr 10R full digital album we wil take da offer.

So for our offer to get average bout $8 per pix is veri rare.. on top of other throw in like 20"x24" portrait + 10R full digital album besides all our raw pix.

In da end of da day, it'll depends on your power of bargaining wif them.

Wow ... Cost more than my photographer - I sign up the package is only 850 and I get back all my photos .... Thinking to upgrade to the package with additionl day photoshoot which cost ard 300 mre
