Well, I can just say is how we think about it. Know of 2 pairs of couples. One attended a funeral and a wedding 2 weeks before their marriage, another did not attend any events 3 months prior or after their wedding ceremony. Guess who's happily married for 7 years and with 3 wonderful kids? The couple who attended everything wedding and funeral that needed their presence. They are Chinese by the way. The other couple ended up with a divorce certificate after 3 years. It's been 12 years since this post started, how's your wedding life?
