Anyone whose bf/htb/hubby left you for another MAN?

if he's a closet gay, then just gotta wish him well and appreciate the periods u guys have gone thru... i guess it must have been difficult, something straight pple like us may have difficulty fully understanding... so dun let it be a "you" issue, but set him free to seek something that has always been a part of him...

the good thing abt such incidences is, u know it's definitely not u, but him and the choice he is making...

Then at least count your blessings that you're not married; like that good friend of yours...

Actually...he could be bisexual; if it makes you feel any better...

Reminds me of this movie "Brokeback mountain" :P

Joelle, its a blessings tat u r not married to this person.

Feeling sad n cheated is part of the feelings now.
Look at the bright side, u found out earlier n move on.

sometimes, it's to be expected .. even though the majority have now learnt to accept the individual sexual orientation, some still haven't .. so some gays do suppress their feelings and go on to marry women, even having children but ultimately it will not work out because it's not who they really are ..

My friend has 2 kids, and she is still not aware, I don't even know how to tell her or should I tell her...My life is in a mess now... never had I been so shitty in my life. I tell myself I must forget him, but how's my friend goging to cope?

u should be in a good condition before u worry abt your fren...

anyway, how certain are u of the whole affair? cos it's quite far-fetched... so make sure u're absolutely right abt things first...

ok, then there's really nothing u can do abt it except to heal yourself first... as for your fren, i dun think u'll be in the rite frame Now to be the speaker...

i guessed so too at first, but who in the right frame of mind would use her hubby's number to flirt. I don't believe my bf would admit falling for a man if he is not.

It is easy to think that you cannot accept that ur bf had left you for another man, and that you are cheated.
Just think about your good friend's position - and the 2 kids - confirm she will freak out.

I'm quite certain your ex-bf has been struggling within... personally, i too know a guy who married a gal to cover up his sexuality, and he has his own male partner.

married a gal to cover up his sexuality..
so selfish and irresponsible.

Joelle, it takes time to forget. You can do it.

i do agree that he is hiding his sexuality therefore he choose to married.
well this kind of guy is indeed a selfish freak.
its time for u to move on sweetie though it hurts.
Well, all truth hurts....

Joelle, yes, time will cure the pain though not totally mend the crack. It is indeed a blessing that you r not married to him yet. In every part of our life, there are bound to be ups or downs or surprises. What ever it is, be strong and carry on. Its all in the mind and u could do it. You've taken the 1st step to share so lets carry on from there.

Kimmy, i do not agree on your usage of addressing them as 'freak'.

Other than earlier realisations, it is not surprising that some gay men discover their 'ACTUAL IDENTITY' later on in their life - ie. after marriage - and thus, they went on to explore their sexuality.

Of course, some of them such as my guy friend who knew earlier, married out of 'cover-up' or for some other reasons. I wouldn't understand the whole story behind it, nor would i name-call them based on my perspective.

yah loh. What freak?

Do u occur to realize it could happen to anyone. If u have kids, what if they turn gay? U will have a freak too?

ya lo.. wat freak??!!
haha.. anyway, Jolle, u shld be happy coz u guys havent married..
as for ur fren, let her find out herself ba... this news will be too jiak lat for her..

US,

Don't blame her lah...
Blame her religion...it's very normal for narrow minded Christians to term anything that don't conforms to their "moral" standards as "freaks" or "outcast" or whatever...

PS: Disclaimer hor! It's narrow minded Christians! Not all Christians ok! I have met my fair share of rational Christians...

for sure, there are a lot out there, married but gay, sad to say tis..
for jolle's fren case, is good tat she doesnt know... at least she will be more happy, coz she might not know forever...

Omg.
unexpected leh.
although not this first time i ever heard, my sister was also caught in this unfortunate situation where her ex hubby was having an affair with another MAN. My sis could not take it anymore n left him 6 months after the discovery.

Not many can accept anyway.... if they find out.

If only the marriage or r/s between 2 man is allowed here... then maybe such cases will reduce?? maybe la hah...

What is natural? A dyfunctional family with the mother and father quarreling everyday? Parents who hate the sight of each other?

Maybe it's just me, but I really don't understand what is so wrong or unnatural to have a single parent or a two father/mother family if it provides all the needs that a child require to grow up contributing back to the society?
Just because there are people who can't accept it yet, do we have to follow suit?

they can adopt .. it's quite common to see this overseas .. if two people are in love and are perfectly capable of raising a child in a stable, loving environment, i don't see why not ..

maybe it is ok to have a single parent...than see two men... feel weird anyhow but for the two women, i hv nothing against this cos hmmmm women hv the maternal instincts towards children lah... really yucks.. might as well the two men remain this way without adopting.

It's precisely coz of people like u tat some gays/lesbians choose to remain underground. I dun expect u to embrace it but at least learn to accept tat other people have a different preferred lifestyle can? Are u tat great a human being urself to be able to go yucks at others?

yup true. maybe lor but i have a friend who went under the knife for sex change. of cos i was too shocked at the change. maybe i m not ready to accept this. this is fullll stopp.

blur...

not so difficult just imagine u're a male who like males... since u're already a female who like males... not difficult to imagine u're a male. (not a male who wants to be a woman n like males hor...)

other than that, u're perfectly nice, kind, understanding and good person.

simple lor... for me to think like a lesbian, i just need to think of myself as a female... since i already like girls...

so for u since u already like guys... just imagine u're a male.

not that tough mah.... it's just that somehow along the way in your development... the same sex appeals to u in all the same senses u have for the oposite sex... not that tough rite?

just had a talk with him in a cafe, he asked if I could give him another chance to work things out. What should I do? I am lost, but I still love him.

I can understand you still love him and probably wish to give him another chance. Let's face the facts, he will probably do it again if it's in his nature. Of course I respect your decision to get back with him. But if he hurt you again, will you be able to take it?

Honestly, no offence to gays, I personally will feel so disgusted that I won't want him to ever touch me again.
