Dear all, the amara ballroom came out really well,... the special feature (star lights) are pretty in the photos... no regrets for me!

my banquet manager hits off real well with us and service is thumbs up for them... he stayed with us till 1 plus... making sure we had something to eat before settling the miscellanous bills...

Ling.. initially i asked specifically for uncle jeffrey too... but last min he had to take leave... so no choice... i was assign Fabian... he was great! haha... my hubby said: Fabian is a very assuring guy.. he makes sure u are comfortable and haapy... he's great.. of course uncle jeffrey is also nice... depends la... uncle or someone younger lor... Fabian is much younger than uncle jeffrey!

anyone realised that the ballroom carpet design is 'this is a ballroom' repeating over the over again? i immediately removed this hotel from my shortlist.

the carpet design includes the words 'This is a ballroom' repeating itself. Which I find very cheesy so I removed it from my shortlist. I signed with Marriott instead. Happy cos my coord is a pleasant and flexible lady.

Hi Chew, I noticed that the carpet was not very nice but did not realise it actually has those words. Nevertheless, I signed up my banquet with Amara as both my htb and myself are very satisfied with the service of the banquet managers. I guess its give and take...You gain some, you lose some.
