I've heard that the food for Amara is not that fantastic for AD? I can't remember well as the dinner I've attended was donkey years ago.

Hi Catty,
i attended a wedding last year at Amara, Find their service good. and as for food, both side parents love it. So decided to hold my banquet there too

hi darine,
sorry for the late reply. Mine AD was last yr Dec 13.

Hi Catty, the food was good and a lot of my relatives and colleagues were impressed with the food.

hey poseidon_gal,

perhaps you can check with them on the costs of their in-house wines. It may be cheaper getting from them. Then u can save money on your wine corkage?

Hi,
Yup, their in-house wine is cheaper. about 30+.
but they do have option to choose for 18 bottles waiver and wine per table too.

Hi all,
I am interested in holding my AD in amara but can anyone advice me on a nice coordinator and manager running my wedding from the hotel??

Hi virgobride,
my coordinator is Tiffany.

It will be discuss when you do food tasting.

hi ling... yup yup.. same person as in sophia! haha... my AD is in july.. so yet to have any pictures... remind me again.. will share with you gals after that...

my coordinator is Tiffany as well.. as for dish change, it can be negotiated... i changed 2 dishes...

Hey darine_gal,

Thank you so much in advance then! How are preparations?

Hi virgobride,

My coordinator is Rebecca, a pretty young lady.

She is rather helpful so far, checking on the ingredients of dishes with strange names, forwarding us information we requested.

My fiance and I asked for a change of dish as well. We changed the noodles to rice i think and Rebecca agreed. For our ROM (where would be there as well), they allowed us to change one item in the menu too.

Ling (senti).. my AD is in about a weeks time... haha... scary.. preparation stuff... seems never ending one... haha...

i liasie with rebecca before as well.. she is really nice... a young gal! haha...

that's very fast. haha, ya..i guess things would just pop up along the way..and we would all realise there's more than what we think is done. :p all the best to you!

wishing you a smooth and joyous AD celebration.

my AD with amara is great! reali fantastic.. no regrets.. was a little worried in the 1st place esp since amara is not in the popular list for wedding banquet... but thumbs up for the service and food!

Hey, darine gal, your AD is over already? Glad to hear that your experience with Amara was good. This would definitely reassure the other brides who have signed up with Amara too.
