Hi,

I just signed my package with Capella. The package is expensive of course but that again depends on which hotel you compare with. Capella is exclusive and a luxurious resort. Only a total of 111 suites/villas with spectacular view. For brides who want a total different experience, that is the one.
We are a little concerned about teething problems but once you meet up with Alfred, the catering director, you will be assured as they all come from the Ritz Carlton group and the owner wants to brand it above Ritz Carlton. They do not cut corners! Have fun.

... for mi capella definitely worth its price ... however, coz the price for lunch and dinner are the same ... thus, personally i feel its more worth it for ppl who are doin dinner banquet ...

i intend to do lunch ... tats y gave it a pass ... also ... hehe prefer to save the money for honeymoon

I'm looking at AS for my dinner celebration as well. Should i wait for their wedding show if there's going to be one or is this as good as it gets?

I was there on Saturday recce the location. There was an afternoon wedding there. The decor on stage for the afternoon wedding was quite pathetic just a few cloth draped across the stage and some flower arrangements here and there. It looked very sparse. The parking situation was bad. Some guys had to park along the road leading up to Amara Sanctuary.

No regrets,my event coordinator is "Artono" he's a cute, handsome and friendly guy. You may look for him.

Best to ask them for photos of the stage setup.

I dont know abt the upstair comments, but i know from the lst day when i have not confirmed my wedding wf AS. till now(almost 3 weeks) i have been bothering the event coordinator many times. He always very helpful in answering all my enquires and giving me good suggestions. That is why i finally signed up wf AS during the Roadshow.

I want to give a thumb up to AS event coordinator for all his help (Artono)

My portfolio is now handle over to Wedding Planner and looking forward to work with him to plan my big day...yea!!!

i had good vibes initially too and that is why i signed up. but they seem to have management and staff issues and as a result cannot really attend to clients. it has been a big disappointment. but i have to live with it. it's a beautiful setting however.

Trace, same here. I was wowed when I visited the place esp, the glass pavilion for my solemnization. But they take forever to get back to you on small requests.
Hopefully you all will have better experiences.

hey..just want to get some opinion...wat do you all think of not serving food after solemnisation? AS is offering 2 packages - rental of glass pavilion with food, or rental of glass pavilion only. If take rental of place only, not allowed to get outside catering. will relatives and frens find it weird not to have food after?

Alfred's extremely professional & e best wedding planner probably.

Irene is not as good.
She does not seem to deliver capella quality & experience.

Can I ask u wats e contract u signed w them?
they promised to throw in many other things bt nw after alfred's gone everything has totally changed.
I'm so skeptical as we hv paid e deposit.

One of the major things they promised was WAIVER OF CORKAGE. I don't think its gonna be a dream wedding after all esp when Alfred's gone.

Maybe u should think twice.
We r paying Capella price but not necessary getting Capella service.

I was unable to sent e email to ur ac. u mean they gave 2 nights free? seems Capella is very inconsistent.
then prob Ritz or Fullerton are beta choices.they throw everything.Some friends even recommend St Regis.

We r intending to let go of Capella since Alfred left. don't think it's our problem but Capella's fault.Have you chk other places?

Hi... i'm close to signing a package with AS but have heard mixed reviews about the food. I don't expect it to perfect but at least guests should not leave feeling that the food was bad. Anybody has latest first-hand infor on the food?

Or what should i look out for?
