Hi tute, my AD is on the 30 JUl, yes i am doing the MTM gown with amanda, my 1st fitting is in early march. What about you?

Hi Snap, i have mentioned to Amanda that i want a ball gown and honey satin but my fiance says i should look better in Duchess Satin.... argh.. leaving it to Amanda to decide which one better.... my AD on Nov 3. what about Yourself? How is your gown like? Pictures?

Which MUP Amanda is tied up wif?
Can share which MUA is better if i prefer a natural makeup for my wedding?
And any feedback abt the florist that Amanda used? Red Box rite? Are they good?

Hi snap...my AD is 18th june and 1st fitting should be this month..quite anxious and excited to see how it's gonna turn out... will update here once i have my first fitting..=D

Hi Jeannie gal, i think amanda tied up with a couple of MUA, do check with her. I am yet to check out on red box which am suppose to. Will let you know once i meet up with them.

Thanks alot. I've actually just visited Amanda Lee yesterday. Was a v pleasant experience with her indeed. Fell in love with the french lace... she did sketches for me to see after trying of the gowns. Tempted to just sign and stop shopping ard. :p

but.. this is only my first stop.. hence felt that I shld shop ard for bit first. Further.. need to do some budget calculation too.

unlike other designers, she concentrates more on personalised service. creating a gown that suits the bride more than just following trend.

i've no regrets going with her.

yeah, me an ex-bride too. It was really great wokring with her. Everyone says that my gown is very ME and that juz made my day!

Hows ur 1st fitting with Amanda?
I just did mine on Monday. The basic structure is out, thank god, managed to loose some weight, amanda said, maintain, but not to further reduce :p Din have a chance to take pix cos the laces were pin on, kinda undone... hopefully she will be able to stitch on by end this month, and will drop by to tri it on the 2nd time.

This thread is kinda quiet lately, Hmmm...

Some photographers may offer better price if you are Amanda's bride. Check with her!

me another very happy amanda lee ex-bride... she's just so attentive and creative... the best compliment i got is not how beautiful my gowns are but like pup pup said, how my gowns are so me!!! tat's wat really made the differnece... so no worries abt Amanda cos she always gives her best

me just finish final fitting last Sat...really love my gown after everything is done...was a bit worried that my gown would look too simple, but after last Sat..i dun have any doubt...i love it! up next is PS..=)

Oh..the thread is a bit quiet recently.

How are all of urs wedding preparations? Although my Big Day is on Dec, i started to feel excited.

BTW, Anyone know how is Amanda normal time frame to prepare our wedding gown & evening gown? How long does she take to finalize the design? How long does she take before 1st fitting? How long does she take to finalize all the details on the gowns?

Hope that any bride-to-be or ex-amanda bride can share her experience!

Hi EMF !!

Think roughly it will take 2-3 months ? Mine is a relatively simple gown and only need embroidery and beadings...I sign up in Nov, finalize design and did my measurement in Dec, first fitting early mar, i had a 2nd measurement 2 weeks after that and final fitting end of march...=)

Depending on the design of ur gown then need to prepare the heels rather early. For my case, i need to get it even for my measurement taking =)
guess it's best that u check with amanda on this

oh yeah, juz to add.. i LUV my gowns!! no regrets with Amanda.. she's reali creative and her designs are unique.. wish i can hold my wedding and wear the gowns again..

I wonder if any of you know of this bustier gown with blue lace applique at the trimming of the train? I love the blue lace applique. Any of you know where I can buy it myself?

Amanda Lee Weddings is a designer boutique and it actually has quite a good bargain. They throw in crystal accessories too - and very nice ones at that. I thought it is very reasonable for the price you get.

Agreed with rains... there's no way they can go below 3k for a complete package considering the quality and service that you will get... everything is custom-made from scratch and they tie up with reputable MUA & photographers etc... but if you look at the details of the package, you will realise you are getting premium stuff
