Hi, anyone knows what is the correct way to address relatives on the invitation cards? I know it is to be written on the envelopes only but I'm not sure how exactly to address. Anyone can help? Or is there any website?

Hi Eve

Hi you can view my post at my blog

I'll be posting regular updates so if you guys have any questions about wedding stuff you can email me or comment on the blog. If I have resources to share, I'll post new articles since I'm also preparing for my wedding and I'm always researching about things.

if your cards writes: parents name so n so
together with your name so n so.

you have to address the relatives from the parents point of view.

if in english, mr n mrs so n so n family
if in chinese, you can write how you address the person like 4th sis
(si4 yi2) and family.

my mum also said that if the relatives are older than your parents, they would prefer the cards hand delivered to them.

which i thought was a bit mafan.
do any of you all do that?

i hop The addressees should be written on the left side and on the top of the wedding cards it will relay helpful and will clear..

really is this better way to invite relative and friend . i think it is not possible to send on online info because all are not available at that time on internet.

Anyone know how to address relatives on the invitation cards in mandarin.. There's a different way of writing right ?

I don't think so that you need to have separate wordings on your wedding invitation cards for relatives, as there is formal way to write wordings on invitations what you will have seen.
