I managed to get a good bargain from SB, $1.7k (+Gst) for AD package. SB has quite a decent collection of gowns, but we decided to let go of this package since we'll be having our wedding overseas.

Hi everyone, I'm new here... just joint today. I'm really nervous, my boyfriend just proposed to me 2 week back and we're planning a wedding next year. May I know what is the standard rate for the entire package thing? Or is anyone here going for budget wedding? I hope it can be around 2.5k and below for whole thing. Is it ok? And also what should be included for the package or wedding.
I already got a contact for makeup artist who does whole wedding including photoshoot makeup and actual day for $500+ only. but how much should a photographer cost?

I'm looking for AD photographer too n fm wat I read, seems the rate to pay for pros is 1000 n above. For 10hrs. The views seem to be getting a PG plus VG tog from same company would be ideal then they won't clash. I still haven found any..there don't seem to be recommendations here, just alot of adverts from providers and alot of ppl requesting to be sent details but I'm not sure if those are any good.

lalabear14, I just sent you an email. Haha ya I posted in some forums for people to send me their package rates then the cheapest without photographer is like 1.5k already. The package includes
- 1 gown, 1 evening gown, 1 tea dress, hairstyling + makeup for actual day, trial, flower.
So expensive!!! Then the photographers who quoted me is like 1k or 2k.
Maybe I'll just go with my previous MUA and see her package later...

But ppl, although your pacakge price may be cheap, NEVER NEVER forget the other little nitty gritty stuffs like say additional $$ for eyelash, empoules, hairdo. So yah, make sure your AD package is really really comprehensive.

I got my bs in the aisle. Their service vr good. I jus dropped by their bs without appt. The staff there jus chat with me showing me the gowns n even try some. I ever went to one bs w/o appt too. she jus tell me mk appt come bck again, dun even mention trying their gowns. Hope this helpî„

I have done my pre-wedding shots in Taiwan and is in need of a actual day package in SG.
Any idea what is the price range like? Does anyone has good recommendations? Looking for not expensive and not ATAS one, is within budget and can provide good service.
The things that i want in the package are very simple:
-2 gowns for bride (1 white/ 1 evening)
-1 suit for groom
-2 suits for both dads
-Make up artist cum hairstylist during daytime & nightime)
-Hand bouquet (optional? can get it from a flower shop?)
-Car decorations for groom and brothers
-Sisters corsages
Correct me if i am wrong. Most bridal shops doesn't include PG on actual day, and we gotta source PG on our own? So another sum of money that need to fork up?
Hope to hear all your valuable advice soon. Cheers
