yeah, i like balcony too, cozy seats and pillows, not too noisy and of course the company of ppl. well, this is the 4th gathering and i am still enjoying it. looking forward to the next one.

Hey pple... great outing... think Balcony is much better than Loof, right? Not so smoky and noisy. Ambience was just nice and prices reasonable too. Good to see Estrellaq again and redfox too. redfox bit shy huh...;)

Oh, er, btw...booked my car already..din test drive somemore! :P

Heh... I guess the stars were aligned when we stepped into the showroom ;) Actually hb was still harping on the RX8 when we got there and I was looking at the M2 (me v modest one :P)... Then after we look-see around and sit inside almost every model (cannot test drive mah!), we thought the 2L M3 and M6 were nice and compromised lor. Then we went opp to have a drink and look at the brochures.

Finally went back to showroom to ask somemore qns then made our booking

Aiya... guess both of us were quite bored shopping around liao and plus the sales person there was v nice to us, so decided to take the plunge lor. Besides COE and GST wld prolly increase price further in coming months so better chopchop :P

Mazda is a good brand. Reasonable fuel consumption and as simpleman said, good handling and road holding too.

thanks for all the feedback abt Mazda.. guess we didn't make a wrong choice! ;) Now just hope hb can convert his license soon and chauffeur me around... hehe. Hope I can get my license by the end of the year too.

ah siao, what colour is your car huh? There was limited choices when I went on Sat... only got black, red, off white, purple, sand and the last grey, which I took. Actually the purple is nice but hb doesn't think it suits him :P

BTW, dunno what other freebies to ask for leh.. only got the solar film, $1K cash rebate and the 3M carpets.

ah siao, they din have blue leh.. else wld have considered that.. quite sporty colour yet not as "obvious" as red. Not true that the colour options were for the 2L version.. the 1.6L one had the same options too I think. But we only wanted grey lah ;)

Salsa... ya lor... quite a sudden decision to buy hor.. but ok la.. since made up our minds already, dun think so much liao. Thanks for the great outing on Fri! Let's do it again!!

Yet the winner's the M3 from nowhere! haha. it's within your budget? The normal version or hatchback version? Wow 2L?? I was mad about this car for more than a year.

I went for bowling on Sat night lor...3 hrs session. Dunno how I bowl lah....thighs can ache like tat....this shows that I din exercise for a nong nong time liao....

g gal, ya i think this new version of M3 does not come with Blue colour..luckily i got tat colour cos i always like blue, cos will look more beng aft some modification..keke..But Grey is still not bad lar..

Oh, my selection previously was based on a 30% paycut if I switch my job mah. Since I'm sticking to my current job now, I have more budget for the car, so increased it to $70K lor. Of coz budget is not enough for RX8 la, unless it's 2nd hand or PI, which can be found for around $80+K. But that's stretching it already :P Anyway, the M3 2L is a good compromise la.. it's a sporty family car! Hehe..

Salsa, wah.. bowl 3hrs!! So fun huh... I dun really understand what's so fun about bowling.. I only know how to bowl on the desktop with my mouse!

ah siao, not true leh... the M3 2L got blue but sold out liao... actually all colours in the brochure shld be available but they are released in batches according to the sales person. So it's heng/suay lor... I like the grey v much.. it's got a slight purplish sheen

Laundry, you get rides only if we meet for outings lor.. else how to? Sure you dun prefer simpleman's beemer meh?? ;) His is a better ride leh..keke.. BTW, you'll need to wait till yr end at least.. :P
 
G gal..now all things come together..last time if wan bodykit n everything, must top by 5K!!..tat's y i rather go find my mechanice do bodykit, so much cheaper..hmm, cant visualise the grey colour..as long as its the darker grey metalic one should be good...
 
G~gal, of cos it's on the way lah. oh then again, maybe not cos if going by SLE then diff exit. so what colour is yours? the purplish grey or dark grey? From the outside the M3 appears a bit cramp for tall ppl leh. when's ur BTT?

ah siao, our car's better than before now! new starter and was about time for servicing anyway, so did everything together. engine noise has reduced significantly so we don't even have to do sound-proofing for now.

Coz Simpleman takes CTE which is more convenient for him. U can take BKE mah. Then can drop me on the way.

the sales pple also tempt me to book a test drive date..of cos i turned down cos i know i wont change a new car now...n hor, wrx leh, buy liao can forget about getting married!!!..

err...i do many things inside my car liao..think above 6K liao.the car i bought was 70K if not wrong..ya, 2yrs ago car more ex mah...

was surprised tat they got fog lamp for u..maybe the 2L version will have..cos few mths ago my fren bought the 1.6 version, dun have lor

G~gal, cool! that's a very unique colour.

we loaned 10k for 3 yrs at 4.3+%. If this car can *cross fingers* last us 4 yrs, then we would have recovered from my bf's allowance whatever excess we paid upfront which is about 8k. IF if can last us till the end of its lifetime, then we'll be more than happee!!

well, tt's assuming my bf stays on in this co and his co continues to give him allowance.
 
oh ya, another reason we wanna get the M3 is cos maybe next time can trade-in for RX8 hor.. hehehee... dunno whether possible though.

Laundry, you weird leh.. beemer is still better than RX8 mah.. more luxurious leh.
 
Auntie, if u wanna trade-in for RX8 in future, then u HAVE to learn manual gear. Dun think Mazda brings in auto RX8 to date still.

Ferrari will definitely top both. Spare me the agony of choosing. Mwahahah...
 


rara, ur bf just like my sch fren...but he changed a new car long ago..but well, car is always an expense..save up for marriage is much more impt...n hor, buying a RX8 will not burn a big hole in my pocket lar..
