Simpleman, no... hb has no time to watch movie so we're waiting for DVD release to rent. I did watch a lot of trailers on Apple.com. Borat is really hilarious... Oh another movie to watch out for is The Pursuit of Happyness (not typo). This is based on a true rags-to-riches story of a homeless guy. Quite inspirational.

Heheh. Obviously I dun have an ego issue. No wonder I can get along with Powder.
 
ggal, true .. sometimes I wait for DVD to rent.. but at times the feeling at the cinema is different.. especially those fast action-packed one. For slow moving one, watch at home is OK.
 
laundry, Not sweet but I need to practise to be fierce to persistent guy who will come knocking at the door. My eldest girl is 16 this year..

i just watched tea dance! not bad, but very confusing. hossan leong and zhou chongqing are very funny in their (small small) role.
 
Salsa, Tea Dance is a HK action/thriller about a hitman assigned to find the missing son of some tycoon. Did you watch Step Up? I missed that, but I watched Take the Lead.. pretty nice... made my hb itch to dance again.. haha.

Simpleman, I agree about the cinematic experience. Unfortunately can only watch on weekends and it's really quite costly. Then somemore need to put up with inconsiderate audience.. argh.

No need to practise being fierce to potential suitors lah. I believe that by imparting the right values, your gal will not anyhow hook up with any old guy. She will know how to filter them herself.

ha ha.. the worst audiences are those who do a running commentary to their bf/gf while we are trying to enjoy the movie - especially if the show has a lot of twists.
 
Oh... tell me about it Simpleman. We were watching Harry Potter and this man behind us was giving his mum a Chinese translation of the film!! Luckily that stopped after a few scenes...think he was too engrossed to translate liao! Another time, we sat at the aisle seat next to a family with 2 small kids. We were watching LOTR. The kids took turns to request sitting on mummy's lap and going to the loo!! ARGH!!!

iL Divo is Greek meh? Could be Roman (Italian) instead. Apparently George Bush is also descended from Greek ancestry... he hardly looks or acts like one..haha

BTW, Il Divo is so cheesy... reminds me of those Gregorian Chant CDs from the 80s :P

try Ken Harai... not only is he goodlooking, he has a really great voice tat can make your legs go soft..
 
Laundry, shall I add that my hb practises calligraphy.. the nib and pen kind, not the chinese brush type...:P Yes, his handwriting puts anyone else's I've seen to shame.

Powder, Ken Hirai is the angmoh-looking Japanese guy izit? Never heard him sing b4 but he sure is good-looking. Reminds me of Fei Xiang. Heehee...

Btw, does anyone know where to buy boots? I dun want winter boots per se. Not versatile. Hiking boots mebbe. Something tat doesn't cost an arm or a leg. Ya ya ya... Now then I panick. Everything not packed yet.
 
Morning Laundry. Did you go and check out Timberland? Else can go check out Rockport or Merrel at a sports store. There's also an outdoor sports shop in Millenia Walk and PLaza Sing..

Yup, I also feel a cultural gap with my hb.. haha..Imagine when I first got to know this guy, he only listened to teenybopper pop and read X-men comics...that's why I say people evolve..

Checked out Timberland liao. The designs' super guy & a bit ex even with a discount. Went to World of Sports for Rockport & Merrel but no suitable boots leh. Think muz try those outdoor sports shops like u mentioned. Eeee... I dun like hunting for things. Mebbe I juz wear slippers & watch my toes fall off.

Ken Hirai's pretty good, worth getting his album... go for an album with some familiar songs... his version is soothing... it's the type u listen and appreciate life whilst lying comfy on the sofa...

boots - timberland abit heavy but definitely durable. but i'd prob go to those sports shop to get Hi-Tec or somethingto tat effect for the competitive prices... timberland might still be having sale so no harm trying
 
Sure. If the airline is willing to change their schedule according to my whims & fancies. U think I fly Air Force One ah??

Back juz after midnite actually. Technically 28 Jan lah. Or I turn up in winterwear lor. Luggage & all. Ahahha...
