bad news...i talked to the mgt personally, they cant accept reservations, cos they cant afford to put other pple on hold...n even if u have pple queuing n the gp not arrived, they also wont let u in...
so guys n gals, pls be on time as soon as possible so as to get the big table..nevertheless, he told me there are enuff big table for us...

Shit. From my last post till now, I received an sms. While I was out having fun last nite, a guy fren of mine passed away. He's the same age as me. Really nice, obliging guy. Seems to be perpetually smiling. This is so sudden. I can't imagine the pain of his parents, his wife of only 2 years & his baby girl whom he can never see growing up. Why is life so fragile? & we are here whining about minor relationship problems...
It was indeed a great outing. I hope everyone enjoyed the night. The only thing was due to the big size, we sort of split into two groups - so did not interact much with the newcomers.
Ok don't have to mention the drinks and the lift. It is nothing.

laundry: What is the reason of the sudden death? It is so true that very few of us treasure what we have and only know how to lament what we don't have.
As for the walk at macritchie today - it was good. The weather couldnt be better and we walked for more than an hour covering more than 5km. The morning air was very fresh and the water in the reservoir was over-flowing.
In the end it was drizzling ever so lightly (we couldnt really feel it beneath the canopy) and we called it a day.
Ggal - There are no annoying insects like mosquitoes in macritchie and there is no need for insect repellent.

Laundry, sorry to hear about your fren...hope his family will overcome the grief soon..this is another reason for all of us to treasure those around us, be it our parents, hb/wife, frens, colleagues or acquintances. Life is indeed fragile and transcient but we tend to take it for granted while busy chasing our own dreams.
Simpleman and Latino, glad you both enjoyed the walk... it's been raining since morning so going out was quite challenging...my bed is too comfy
OK next time we shall attempt Bt Timah hill or maybe Fort Canning? It's quite nice there too.

Life is short....enjoy while we can. Do the things we have always wanted to do and live with no regrets. And not forgetting to be contented and grateful with what we have. Treasure our loved ones while we can.....

Simpleman, difficulties breathing after a late nite jog. Heart attack. Why is it so common nowadays har? Eh, u guys, watever u do to exercise, dun jog!! Now I need dealing with death counselling. POWDER OOOOIIIIII!!!!!
