G-gal i still owe SK $283 as i just pay the deposit then collect at the end of the month but another 2 weeks till can collect coz resizing...

Van! 2 rings leh....tsk tsk! hahaha....but it's ok to pamper ourselves once a while lah. Dun wear the ring to bbq lah. And tell you hor! I went bugis yest leh! hahahaha.....meeting my fren for dinner @ 8pm before going for my salsa dancing....so decided to alight at bugis lor. Ok lah...me not like I only bought 2 bras. Buay gum wan that I din manage to buy anything....hahahaha.....

Yes yes! me been dancing for 2yrs liao.

BBride wants to learn har? I go dancing at Amara. Union Sq. is the popular salsa club there...wat do you want to know leh?
Which dance school is good? Where are the salsa clubs in Sg?

I am thinking of signing up for Advance now..too much free time.
 
actually those on 50% are the older designs....sizes and stock availability is very limited.
Once I went to SK @ citilink and saw this pair of dangling diamond earrings very nice. Returned 15mins later and it is sold!

Bbride for me cheap clothes LOL..hangten, giordiona, and see where have sells..if more expensive i bring my mum along LOL she pay LOL...but now i m paying for my own clothes but she always said when i m out with her pick anything and she pay LOL...

still talking about diamonds and rings? or now talking about clothes?

Regarding jewelry, I guess most gals like white vs yellow gold. However, please note that white gold is actually still gold but is white cos it mix with other alloy like silver, paladium. And white gold colour is not so white and that is why there is always a coating of other white materials like rhodium. However, this will wear off and it will need re-coating every couple years or so to retain its shine and colour.

I always prefer platinum instead. It is much more expensive than white gold (at least twice) but you can always get it in its pure form (>95% pure). It is white and it will never tarnish and need for re-coating. However, like pure gold it is very heavy (heavier than pure gold). If you have expensive diamond, set in platinum. For cheapo diamond, white gold can do lah.

Another thing, prices of diamond varies in a wide range and normally at the normal jewelry shop - those are actually not so good diamonds (or lose diamonds) and mostly, they actually have a high-profit margin cost these diamonds cost almost nothing - it is the white gold and the labour that they are earning.

So it is good to buy those rings, ear rings that cost a couple of hundred dollars - but in reality they are not worth much - nice to wear and look at that is all.

Sorry hor. Man are very practical. Actually if you have opportunity to go overseas, you can look at buying diamonds (cut ones and unset) so that you can bring it home to set into rings, etc etc.

I once bought a couple of diamonds overseas - sold off a few to aunties so much so that I can give free diamond to MIL and MOM.
 
bbride...that time i joined the dance class organised by SDS, so it was cheaper. 10classes for $60...i think.....

the schools usually charge $80 for 5 lessons.
Got fren to accompany..of course good lah. Got motivation mah.

union sq dun conduct classes hor. It is mainly a dance club. And dancers hor..sorry....lah, cannot tolerate pple learning their dance at the dance floor....coz we dance fast with the music, together wif all the spins & turns. Will lagang very easily...

You know the part where they have shops? At level 2. Mostly working ladies...of course, will have one or two chio aunties

Hmmm... I pay ab $280 for Unlimited photos, but we will have to choose the best 80 shots for him to touch-up and convert to DVD. That includes, outdoor shots and indoor also.

skylar u sure...coz is my friend whom doing for me..and his photos r very gd...and the album is not the normal one...its in a book form..its his own creation....
 
vanessa, what is important is the photographer. if you like his style and photography then it is worth it lah cos you can't really judge these things as it is your personal.

So asking if 100 photos are a particular price does not make much sense unless we know the photographer.
 
how long har? i took 10 weeks of basic, 10 weeks of intermediate. Then joined another school...for dunno how many of weeks of higher intermediate. Now stop taking classes liao.
 
rara, actually the most important is the photograher. because he will capture the moment. after that, to turn into book, dvd, whatnots - those can be done by anyone - even yourself can do it if you are creative and knows how to use a computer.

actually white gold is created for the younger generation as young people don't like yellow gold. so it is yellow gold in white skin in reality.

so the price he gave me is for ppl whom he knws..if i intro ppl to him will b higher...
 
simpleman, on photography, yes i completely agree that the photographer is key. From creating the atmosphere to capturing the mood in the right angles and best composition. It is ultimately the 'feel' of the photo that matters more than the makeup or the 10k crystal-studded gown.

since you know the photographer and know him personally and trust him to give you the best price.. err.. asking about the price here is redundant right.

he already told me that he capture moments when u are not aware of...and he takes photo without having ppl posing..so its shows the better of the people...
