My package comes with a trial makeup for AD, a makeup for pre-wedding photoshoot, day & night makeup for AD.
My trial makeup is arranged to be a few weeks before pre-wedding photoshoot.

Usually at the roadshows, they tend to give more attractive perks to attract ppl. But then have to really read the contract to ensure there are no add ons after signing.anyone gone down to the bridal fair at marina sq? we visited a few BS and ended up not signing anything still. cos too tired from listening to all the sales talk
are BS able to give the same pricing or package as at the fair, if we go down to the studio directly?
Perhaps next time you can go check out which BS are participating in the roadshow/fair, then 1/2 weeks before the roadshow/fair, arrange to go to the BS directly to see the range of gowns, etc.
then if youre really keen, you can go down directly to the booth at the fair to sign up. abit kiasu but hey, i guess this is called doing homework hehe!

yeah that's what I think we shld do too. but my girlfriend who got married recently said she was able to select her gown then discuss the package at the studio (which she got the roadshow package still)..
I rather make sure there's a gown I really like, than to sign the package becos of perks and end up not finding any gowns I like. then have to sell the package, like many seems to be doing in the forum.. :/

You can consider alanmitchi. They do pre-wedding video and can also incorporate your AD video in it.. you can also have a theme e.g. super heroes.. but got to top up for it..

haha, it's not required until nearer to date I guess.. I wanna invite some ppl to my solemnisation first, which is in nov this year.. that's why gonna need designs n send out/post on FB group soon!

I've been to a wedding dinner at Grand Shanghai, and i really like the food too! Ballroom wise, there are pillars which will block some views. But other than that, it's fine. i like the wedding favours too, they gave some really yummy cookies!

The only counter i went was France Paris booth.

Yesterday i saw concorde hotel ballroom, the interior and exterior look quite old.

white link was fine, aggressive but still manageable.. queena was extremely pushy, and they show black face immediately when we said we need to consider. so queena is off our list definitely!
the few hotels I shortlisted previously also told us they don't participate in wedding fairs or hold any road shows. maybe business is really good!

the packages we learnt yday only has trial for makeup. hairdo have to pay like $80-150.

I walked pass the wedding show at marina square both and Saturday and Sunday.. I must say the crowd is so bad as compared to when I went to wedding shows last year.. not too sure whether is it because of the 7th month.. but I don't see many couples.. I guess if any of you are interested.. There will be BOWS from 2-4 Oct at dhoby.

Androids in boots does such films and a really good one at that. We went down t their studio and they showed us a couple of films they did.
HTB and I initially shortlisted androids too but afterwards we realized we don't really wanna spend $3k or $4k on a 5 min video which we wouldn't watch it regularly... Maybe just special occasions? But of coz if you are willing to spend, I think beyond pictures and rekord haus make very good choices too.

We prepared our own props and shared with the photographer what kind of style we would like. He nailed it exactly the way we wanted. I took my photoshoot 6 mths before my wedding, one day for indoor and one extra day outdoor. We went to Desaru bcos we like to have more of nature as background.
As for AD makeup, I'm engaging an SG MUA before I knew tt my JB BS MUA can actually come over to SG to do makeup for me. You may wish to check that with your JB BS, if you like the JB MUA's style

What are the props that you bought? Can show the pictures or send to me?
Which BS in JB ? Yes i was told there is No MUA provided on actual day so i am thinking of engaging a SG one..the rate is around SGD 380-500 for 1 make up..Is this very normal? or we can get a much cheaper one?
Haha yes true..some face black..attitude not so good. That is why i am thinking Mandarin Orchard no wedding shows? I saw the ballroom before and it was quite nice.
Even for crowne plaza too.

i did that..asked them to show me the gowns selections and they even let me try was pleased with the selection and the price, and how i can customise, so i signed with them signed together with my bestie, and we got a slight discount too..jiejieningning

Yup, going to have AD PG and VG 6 hours (fr morning till lunch banquet reception) - total cost :$2500 (Back Alley Creations)
for the lunch banquet, going to have just a roving photog (table shots + shooting key events such as march in) + photo booth (unlimited prints for photobooth and roving photos)- $1100 (Pink Man photography)

Yes I did that. Went to My Bridal Room, Odelia and Rico. Tried gowns at all 3 places. Experiences were all good - not pushy, no black faces even when I said I needed more time to decide and cannot sign on the spot.

yup! will be having a videographer
we are considering green imagination. met with Joe from Green imagination yesterday. sincere , straight forward and easy going. Two of my friends engaged him as well for their AD with express highlights.. i must the price is very competitive... 1088 for half day videography with express highlights.
