I contacted them to update on when i wanna have my prewed taken... pls so take early as u will face issue with photo edit n layout..

I took my prewed in tw this apr.. until now im still doing my layout etc.. sg branch got very little gown due to space constrain.. if u go down to their shop u will understand...

I took their full package... n topup 70 photos...

I feel if u all found the gown, can confirm earlier safer bet bah? for mine, If I changed my mind for my AD gown, I have to pay $480 to change my gown.
but still better than no gown to choose. I read somewhere that some brides face the problem of not able to find a gown that suits them but time is short. therefore they have to settle for something they don't really fancy cos 'boh pian'

Is this an usual practice that bridal shop asked bride to pay if she required a change of gown?
This is new to me wor and it is quite costly.

Yes, I think it's the usual practise? Am not too sure but my BS told me that it is.

it is quite costly provided you will change your mind. for me I think as long as i'm set on the gown, then shouldn't be a problem.
but well, still got 11mths to my AD, anything can happen! LOL

Sher, which date did u change to? I changed mine to Dec due to unforseen circumstances. It's like we are now choosing our wedding dates based on venue availability, shouldn't be like this I feel lol

I am trying for a week early which is 20 Sept as my SO wouldn't want to push the wedding to too far... You are right, it shouldn't be we are looking for venues which has our date now... Hence, for the late reply for this thread. We have called up a few hotels and has schedule for a few appointments to view the ballrooms. We both like FS initially which also has our date but then it's out of our budget so we released it.

@Sher1234 My wedding will be held in Dec, still at FS. We already paid the deposit for 26 sept but had to change to a later date as sth happened at home. So you haven't decide on the venue? All the best! :)

i took my already. didn't want to rush everything so went ahead in Nov.

choose my photos last Friday and now waiting till jan to look at the layout.

if all ok, I guess I can get my album in Feb ? or maybe March? don't wan to take my album so early! I scare i'll get sick of it.

So I guess it's about 4 to 5 months for the whole thing, from gown selection of photoshoot to collecting album? Thks. I thought of doing it after Chinese New Year.. :)

poses I think varies from 32-35 poses for normal. I have 4 gowns for photoshoot and another 4gowns on AD
do check with them if the gowns selection is for all on the rack?
I heard reviews on roadshow is that they give low price, but then when u go to their studio, u will not get to choose those pretty gowns.
they'll ask u to top up. that will be another 1k more. so beware of that.

Hey ladies, my wedding is on 26th Sep 2015 too. It's like a hot date next year. My HTB proposed in Oct on his bday. I called up at least 15 hotels/restaurants before I finally get a few that they said they are available for dinner.

But being a kaisu bride and wanted to save money, I didn't went to a BS. I have bought my wedding gown via carousell only at $100! Second hand gown but it's like super cheap! It comes with veil too. I found lots of affordable wedding stuff there. So, ladies can check it out.
And you can get wedding favors from Q100, also cheap there but most of the hotels will provide wedding favors for guests.

Tip: My HTB and myself are going to Thailand in Jan 2015 to tailor-made his suits and I'll grab my evening gown there. (So much cheaper there and can do it as a holiday too)
I'm lucky that my brother is doing my pre-wedding shoots with his DSLR camera.

We had already engage the AD MUA,
AD photography & videography and insta printing during the cocktail hours.
So, actually most of the things are like done in a way.

And the most KIASU thing that we did was to contact the solemnizer for the ceremony. We found one and just need to be in touch in June 2015 to do up the paper work.

My wedding will be held at Grand Park City Hall hotel. It is just beside peninsula plaza.

I didn't go to any BS as I felt that they are very expensive. But if you want quality, then they are the experts.

I didn't want to spend a bomb on my wedding so I opt for DIY method. Looked into ebay, Taobao, Q100 and carousell for wedding gown, evening gowns and other wedding stuff.

I had engage Jimmy Tan Productions for my AD photography and videography. We met up with several photographers and tell them our ideas before we decided to engage Jimmy as his rates is the most affordable among all.

One of gf also engaged him for her wedding lunch videography in oct 2015.

I actually checked with Grand Park Cityhall hotel to arrange for a viewing of their ballroom as my SO and me also looking at 26/9 initially but I was told that a couple have booked the venue and we were hoping they can give up and we can take it! I think that the couple is you...Lol..... Congrats! I am worry to buy gowns online as I have never purchase anything online and I don't know if it fits. The BS has lots of beautiful gown and we can make appointment to try on too. I will look at Jimmy Tan photographer work. What is his rate? I am doing luncheon by the way.

Jimmy quoted us $1888 for AD full day photography and videography. But I supposed it will subject to changes. :)

Hey Sher1234,

Besides I bought my wedding gown via carousell. I asked the seller if I can try the gown before I buy it. If I can wear, I'll grab them. If you are genuine buyer, most of the time, the sellers are fine with it.

I went to try a wedding gown but I can't fit in it so I didn't get it in the end.

Then the second gown I tried was prefect! Super happy with the buy. It includes gown, kan kan, veil and she give me a fake bouquet flower for photo-shoot.

For the fun of it, I did up a bridezilla photo with my wedding gown. :)

No worry about the venue, what I meant is that was quite long time ago when I called to checked on Grand Park Cityhall for the date and it was that long time ago that I hope that the couple can give up the venue then. Lol.. I got my venue at other hotel already after I knew that "you" have taken it. And I love my venue. I am not asking you to give up now lah! Aiyoh..... Sorry for the confusion...

Wah, 1888 is a good price... Hmmm.. I can consider!

Gdl. Not yet discuss.
Instant photo. Wont be having.
Wedding favor and cocktail Using hotel banquet.

I'm keeping things simple.
