Before you select your photos, pl eat a good meal before going. My gastric acted up cause I chose photos for 6+hrs till the BS closed and I still havn't select finish and bargaining on the rates -.-

Wow.. yeah. Mine was also edited with the layout. Only chose the photos and we left it for them to do. Went down for a 2nd time to confirm and edit on the spot and settled everything then they send for printing. My whole sales experience only went down after the layout designing as my main designer died unexpectedly and had to be taken over by another person. Kinda disappointed now.. but at least am at the last stage.. and yeah u're right. Once in a lifetime...
Yah. Actually its quite a lucrative business as all their customers don't really know the market rate. Mine had so much hidden cost that I was seriously pissed, but the photos turned out really well. Just that I would never ever want to go through that experience again.

Yup. When I first paid, we were quite silly, we paid in full during the NATAS fair and they made us pay in TWD and there was a conversion cost for credit cards in which I complained to them, so the photo count was topped up from 40 to 45. And when we reached there the first night at 7pm, we went to choose the groom's suits (which the BS outsourced to another shop that specializes in men's suits) and it was terrible. And they said that if I want the 'k-feel' then I can choose to top up. We top up because its for the photoshoot and I don't want my bf to be ugly. Then we went to choose the 6 gowns for me. The first few dresses that they fetched were so horrifyingly ugly. Haha. But the rest were much much better. And then they say though I can choose gowns from the premium series as well, but one of the gown that is really nice is under the window display set. Which means a top up of around 300sgd. I brought 2 nubras and they say is not the same as theirs and I shouldn't wear mine and I should get theirs at 100sgd. And then we have to pay for transport which we are only using for 2 places and the rest of the time, the driver is just waiting for us. When it comes to choosing the photos, it was worse, the sales consultant chose one by one for the first 4 rounds, they got one their most powerful sales consultant to brainwash me about their magical concept of getting 2 albums (1 customized 1 normal) and 200+ photos (we took 388 photos) and it will set us back by 20k sgd. Its only when they realised I am quite determined to delete the photos and reduce the number of top ups then they left me alone. They came back when the photo count dropped below 100 and they began using the sarcastic tone and said that "you took so many pretty photos just to delete it? I dont know what you are thinking. But this is once in a lifetime and you deleted it away just like this. Its not like these photos did not turn out well" And then I finally deleted until I have 51 photos left (means a top up of 6 photos), to my horror, making the album horizontal means a top up cost as well. So all I could say is the pre and post sales talk is a harrowing experience. I am just so glad its behind us now.

Hahah, don't know about the printing quality yet. Sent for printing and not couriered to us yet (another cost). But yay in another news, I have booked a MUA for my mom, sis and future mil. Just wondering should I engage her to stay and help me change a hairstyle for my 2nd outfit or there isn't a need at all.Wow! Urs is quite terrible!

Haha. My htb's fren is right now learning MU and she agreed to help me w my 2nd march mu and hairstyle at no cost.. hehe. She also offered to help w my mum and mil.. think we are gona give her an ang bao to thank her for the help... my mua is super expensive. Quite heartpain actually after paying the deposit..
How much did your MUA charge you? Mine is with the BS and will be charging me $150.00 for MU services for 1 pax (not mine; mine is in the package)
Mine is all ala carte as the KL shop has no branch in sg one.. so i got this freelance at 680sgd.
but she did mine b4 when my sis wedding that time.. and she is really good.. but thinkin back i shud have gone for cheaper one..What is important is that you have worked with her before and you know that you will be satisfied with her work! Don't think so much already since you have already paid or made down payment. Just take it as one thing down!!! Now I am trying to weave my own wedding pens. Yay! Tdragon sent me my wedding card text n stuffs for confirmation on 10 Feb and told me that printing takes 2 weeks and I can collect by 25 Feb.
But I just got a call this morning saying that they are ready for collection! They tried to give me earlier so that I can distribute during CNY!

I met a little hiccups so need to rechoose the wedding card.
The printing company don't have the card material already so needed to rechoose as the current they have doesn't look nice!

Went for gown fitting today! Excited!! And it changed my mind about wearing a kwa. But the BS told me that MUA would only do makeup and hairdo for me before my ROM (my ROM is before 1st march-in) and that if I want my MUA to stay to assist with hairstyle changes for 1st march-in, its an additional $300. Is it so exp in other BS as well? Mine is Sophia.

U might want to consider engage freelance MUA for change of style .. U can change style for 1st n 2nd March in according to Ur gown style
Mine charge me $200 for the 2nd change. Too expensive i feel.. was thinking maybe to add a hair accessories for 1st march in den evenijg gown one. Dun put accessories.

Depends on how late is your GDL .. if doing 1 week before AD, it will be too late to send the invites.

I have started giving out since last month actually and continuing it now so that it is not so stressful to write the cards all at once. Haha!

Yes OMG! When I started planning 2yrs ago, it seemed so far away. Now its just around 2 mths. I am meeting my JP on wed evening and on mon, our renovation for our room starts!! To be honest, I am quite excited. Hahaha.

But things like Montage (still half done LOL, procrastinating since Dec 2014 :x), Emcees (not found yet), Helpers (have yet to formally notify), March in songs (haven't find one for 2nd march in)... soon have to do seating arrangement, liase with my Photobooth vendor on the template for the photos...

I would say u r pretty efficient. My photo album not settled yet. Viewing layout for the first time beginning in april.
Yet to finalise artwork for invite card/photo booth and have not started on photo montage. And guest list seating arrangement etc...

Hahaha! I have sent out already since mid last month. And there are reminders and e-invite (to their email addresses) and FB invite. The bad part is that we will be nearing qing ming soon and elders might not like us to send out invites then and then its left with a month.
