Btw slowly plan ur bs but do banquet soon. Else might b hard to find pillarless, suitable ones.

Hello! I'm going to be a dec btb too! But I've yet to confirm my wedding venue - most likely novotel cause they're the only hotel that I know of with a reasonably nice ballroom for 18 tables! But am quite concerned cause of all the -ve reviews

and they're fully booked on saturdays for the entire month of dec.. So ill have to decide between fri or sun - htb & myself both prefer fri, but think it'll be hard for guests to make it on time for our solemnisation? Any advice?

I signed up w a BS last month and that's about all that I've done so far

I'm honestly worried! That explains why I'm still awake and rambling at this hour...

Hi Cindy,
Dont worry. I've attended dinner at Novotel and their food is gd. Service wise, only drinks are not top up as frequent, same problem as many other hotel.

Is your solemnization done in front of all guests during dinner or earlier? If it's the latter, u just have to invite people who meant alot to u and your hubby. They would do their best to be punctual and be there...

I've just booked my BS but yet to confirm on venue. Not holding any customary, just a small affair ROM of less than 80pax. Sourcing around for venues, thus far looked at quotation from some Italian, French & Spanish restaurant like Les Amis, Ku De Ta, Forlino, etc... Looking at the price, seems that hotels are much more affordable than these restaurants. There is minimum spending in order to get exclusive usage of the entire place or part of the area. Both of us wanted it to be different, away from the usual chinese banquet type. Plus point is the view of some of these places are very very breath-taking, ie. sky-deck.

Anyone also looking at such places for wedding?

There is surchange for PG+VG, around $600 more..
I suggest you book both together under 1 company so you could save more and also the teamwork between them might be better.

This bouquet not from SSS, its from greenpoint flower..
The lace dress I got from divine couture sale.. Wanted to sell it off but I can't bare to do so..=X Guess I will bring this along with me for PS in June..

For SSS right, we always got flower for each other when there is any occasion as the flower are fresh and creative.. We will always approach May.. However she is not in charge of wedding.. From my understanding, there is another girl called Grace handling the wedding event.. Recently they should be pretty held up with the CNY flowers as they do not deal with event only.. Maybe after CNY period you contact them again..

Mine likely to be 22 Dec at Il Lido @ Sentosa Golf Club... Small intimate wedding less than 100guests... But most printing companies doesn't do less than 50pcs, headache! Anyone knows where can I do wedding invites for such small quantity?

Hi Gim! I'd recommend printing at peace centre or sunshine plaza. They do printings for student works and designer stuff. Some do provide printing of invites too. Can check with them. Perhaps not as cheap since you ain't printing like in huge bulk but hopefully this info is useful to you.
