alicia: wah always the 1st to greet..wahahahaha zao zao..

memorable: I think most of us or rather all of us here did not engage any live band..I wanted to but is beyond my budget

to think of that..very sad that our courses served to our presidential suite we only eat few mouthful, should be very hungry de...but I think too stress n not enuff sleep, end up no appetite..even pre snack I also eat abit nia..sigh. waste food
 
mine... we also never eat much.

pre dinner snacks... i shared 1 portion with my wife, and we asked the photographer to eat the other plate and after dinner, i think i only peck at the food a bit, and only thin i finished completely was my walnut paste+rice ball desert. I think too tired to eat much.
 
ya manz...so I think not really a gd idea even they have foc pre banquet snacks n our main courses for us...
I'm still drooling over the 2nd course foie gras...LOL
 
darrel: erm..big bird is not a goose I think LOL...luckily this year no wedding dinners to attend so far...haha...

alicia: wahahahahah no leftovers? I rem next morning I whack on the PG wedding cake and the dessert buffet stuff that my MIL tabao back home..but still unable to eat alot until 3 days later..
 
coden: where is ur AD held ah..dunno whether I got ask u before anot..getting senile..

foie gras I think the best 1 I ever ate was Jaan or table66..

wow.. then it shld be expensive ba? so far we always go to serene ctr, there is a french stall, i will go crazy when i go thr.. hahaha.. Foie Gras~
 
Jaq> Ya, no leftovers. The portion they gave is like wat they will serve us in VIP table, eg, chicken - just abt 3 or 4 pcs, fish - 2 mouthfuls, etc. No 1st dish & shark's fin coz we get to eat tat during the banquet. The noodles & dessert they gave 1 full tupperware of it, and all finished up! LOL~

not really very ex la..eat only once in a blue moon..

Jaq> HAhahah! Ya, hungry & glad it's all over! Wen we jus reach our hotel room after all guests left, we jus looked at each other & said "finally all's over!" HAhaha! So we get to enjoy the food, den after a bath, count AP $$ till abt 3+am. LOL~

alicia: after the banquet,we still packing stuff n my hubby went to change n bathe n make use of the jacuzi, n I took 1hour to bathe LOL..45mins used on my hair..cannot use jacuzzi coz women thing..sigh..
 
darrel:can ah..we asked for late checkout at 1.30pm instead of 12pm...n late breakfast served to our room also at 10am LOL..

my hubby went to slp after the course n I waiting for hair to dry, count angbao money until doze off n on..slept at 4am, wakie at 9am..LOL
then hubby wake up at 9 also to count angbao money until the porter came to the room lol
 
Jaq, Darrel> HAhahah! We counted till 3+, den slept. I dun remb wat time we woke up (mayb ard 8 or 9 like tat), but after waking up, we went down for the buffet breakfast, den went back to the room, pack our tings, watch tv & stuffs, den after packing we went down for the free lunch. After lunch we went back to the room & check whether left anyting behind & wait for porter to come. Heh!

i took 4 hours to count + record down all the amounts.
 
memorable> i posted in Oct 2010 thread regarding the licence fee for live band...

i wrote to 2 live band companies (I shld name them as "A" and "Y") to enquire abt the recent case on the licensing issue.

"Y" replied to me that we couples will hv to bear the license fee and sent me the link of Compass…
whereas "A" told me that this license fee comes under the hotel and their rates will remain the same.

probably need to take note and make sure who’s the responsible party...

for my cartoon animation, C&T has yet to come back to us if there will be any extra charges.
 
darrel:can go home sleep mahz, must enjoy the facilities n do whatever u can before checking out..wahahahaha we actually wanted to bank in the money on that saturday since ngee ann city posb close at 7pm but we too tired, just wanna go back n unpack n sleep for awhile lol
 
Talking abt ang pao, I still have not completely bank in the $$$... ooppss..

Booy> HAhaha! I alr used up all the money to pay for my credit card debts, but still not enuff. If onli my dad din take all the $7K+ AP away, my credit card debts will be all cleared! =(
 
Jaq: yeah.. the fan shape ballroom.. heehehe.. yes.. then dream theme.. i like too.. but scare parents hiam to dark.. haaha... orh orh..
 
coden: tot they change the theme liao for 2010? Thinking back, think my banquet quite chaotic although everything went smooth lol...especially shocked when guests 95% came n all in ballroom at 730pm..LOL
 
coden: Ic..means they haben change theme...my hotel worse, themes no change for at least 5 years lol but they allowed mix n match..so not too bad
 

Jaq: ya.. i think they will remain the theme but change some deco.. heard fr my banquet mgr dat got 1 hotel copy their centre piece.. so they are now sourcing for new ones to replace the present one.
