Lalaa, pre-pg basically means pre-wedding photographers.. some bridal shops don't have their in-house photographers.. that why some of us engage our own photographers from outside..

freegoer: u referring to the album layout ah? gulp how complicated can it be ah.. scary leh.. i'm planning timeline to be sth like that: fitting in Apr, PS in Jun, selection of photos in Jul, 1st view of album layout in Sep, collection of album in Oct. make sense to u gals?? or how do u advise i adjust it?
i thought Jun quite ok for PS alr. cos was advised that Jun/Jul weather is not bad.

hmm...actually Jun is quite hot for PS..we had our ROM in June and the weather was good but real hot...

remember that we have a lot of couples getting married in dec 09...*gasp* so i think printers will have a very tight schedule to deliver the artwork and albums..do it early and have time to check thru...

Queen> Ya, main reason why we chose Yow Siang was that we liked his videography style a lot. It was a tussle between him or Ichirofilms. But when I signed up with him last year, his price has increased quite a bit and he said that he'll be stopping his videography service to concentrate on photography instead.

Whoa, ur reno is extensive I suppose? How big is ur 4-rm flat? My 5-rm is small compared to the more mature flats, only 110sqm. Am hoping for reno to cost <30k

I'm wondering is it a must to change to a tea dress or 'kua' during the morning session of our tea ceremony? Can I wear my white gown throughout the ceremony or not? Cos I can't find any nice tea dress from my BS and I don't find the need to specially shop for it when I just wear it for once.

cheerypie, which is ur BS? according to customary, after marrying into ur hubby's house, u need to change before going back to ur niang jia, that's the purpose, i suggest that if ur BS got no nice teadress ask for extra WG or EG from them, at least u can change to it

pudding: yes, managed to book the last ballroom in swissotel a week ago. *phew* the other bigger ballrooms were fully booked. lucky we're targeting 25 tables, so can book the smaller ballroom. lucky you book much earlier, so can pick and choose. =)

princess: hubby flies 80% of time for work, hence felt tat easier for me to join him for PS overseas than to arrange PS in spore cos his schedule can change anytime. he had a taiwan trip in nov, hence quickly book with Julia in mid oct. chose gowns, did fitting and flew off within 3 wks. hehe.. everything happened really fast. chose photos in mid dec le.. now waiting to see artwork.

geminiger, nightshoot have to pay extra $80. but also take abit only after till 8pm.

my photos top up so much also cos the album i choose have to have more pics then nice.anyway quite ok for mi lah.

i'll do my food tasting in feb and at the same time tok to my restaurant about my wedding cards. probably will have them by march.

my photo album will be ready only in late march or early apr.

so far, i only met with Daylight, Am.Pm and 1950photography.

but from the table, Daylight already taken up by another 21 Nov bride.

I'm considering 1950, but fiancé wants to see more before deciding. So we plan to go down to Coffee & Tea, maybe 39East too.

I'm also looking for Pre-wedding photographer.

Hi Evelyn, Apr's a wonderful time for PS with lots more flowers.

There are lots of PS locations to choose from, depending on your preference. I prefer nature shots, hence went to Yang Ming Shan (love the big lake there and managed to capture some shots with fog in the background), a horticulture park (for flower shots), Dan Shui (for beach shots) and a nearby park (for greenary). You can also consider going to the amusement park, queint coffeeshops, this place called Jiu3 Fen4 (for its old town charm). You'll not be able to cover all spots so will hv to choose 2 or 3 nearby locations. Can check with your PG when u arrive in TW as they may have their own secret locations. There are also little things like 'don't cut your hair 1 wk b4 PS so it wldn't look 'tut4' esp the grooms', 'don't drink too much water day b4 PS to avoid looking puffy' etc. Most importantly, relax, hv fun, smile more cos PGs can touch up all our flaws but cannot change our expressions (got this advice from my frens who had their PS earlier and agree totally). Geez.... Still get a 'high' when recall my PS. Have fun! Feel free to drop me an email at [email protected] if you've further qns.

princess: yes, did top up photos. photos turned out well even w/o touch up (tks to PG's skill). PG took 320 shots, we saw abt 280 pics. took 3 rounds to go down to 70+. yes, chose mag style. i'm eagerly waiting to see 1st artwork. sure, can share with u later.

pudding: agree with u. the more i read the posts in forum, the more i think i'm lucky to book the last ballroom, despite the price/pillars/low ceiling. but it's a hot date and i'm quite late so chin chai, just book. your MUA is xiaoqi rite? wat time is am makeup? is christina with xiaoqi too?
