I have a secret to let out. Actually I wanted a Church wedding in my church very much (I'm a Catholic) but HTB not keen in it cos he is a Christian ... I think its everyone Christian or Catholic dream to have a Church wedding.

geminiger: yes i have 2 additional gowns for my outdoor shooting. i'm going to arrange with chjimes for one of my ps and botanic garden. i'm going to take night scene too.
BTW how many suit did Jess give ur hubby? who did you take up as ur MUA?
 
milky, oh i gave up on balloting too and bought my resale flat in bukit batok. went for 1st appt already but now waiting for second appt.

so did u book Carlton at their recent wedding show that just passed?

anyway so things are moving along towards our AD heh...next up for me is the BS confirmation and concurrently am diligently working out at the gym to shed off the pounds!
 
cos d design i like don't have my size.. plus i dont like other design... so i was very sad..

hahaha... you so funny... I still so worry that I cant find my dress and I dont have a design that I like so cant tailor yet. Actually plan to get a couple Tee and jeans but ROM there cannot wear like that. haha. Think die die have to think of a design and tailor le. Will call the tailor andrea recommend. Should I go for long or knee lenght dress???

Something that is pulling me back bcos during my brother's church wedding he only had 4 relatives (excluding my family and her family) attending, when my WHOLE extended family is Catholic (I even have relatives that are Priests and Nuns). Its such a joke lor. I see all the church wedding are all crowded with people but my bro is so.... i scare mine also like that.

cube cube> I'm also a meat eater. I still eat my meat but cut down my rice lor it will be best if you can cut rice totally but I cant do it lah cos I'm a rich eater also. Maybe its easiler for me cos I'm a tutor so no colleague ask me out for nice lunch. haha... only need to cross barrier for mum and HTB. I'm on liquid diet for the next 3 days. Dont know can tahan till 3 days or not, already ask HTB not to meet me for the next 3 days. hahaha..

Those who have bad cellulite I highly recommend the Vichy thingy. Going to get another bottle when Gurdian sale is here.

I went to Julia Wedding y'day and their gowns were totally lovely. But their packages were waaaay too expensive for me. The one I looked at cost $4888 and they were reluctant to throw in any freebies. I was quite disappointed. They kept telling me if there are anything I wish to include it is negotiable. But when I brought them up, they shot the ideas down so I also sian. Like cannot win them. So anyway, I went over to French Bridal and their packages were more suitable for our budget.

Hallo gals, I just came in to see Dec 09 brides and surprised to realised so many couples same AD as me.

I'm also a 6 Dec 09 btb. Finding a venue is a headache. So many places already taken up.

JWN is quite hard to bargain...n it depends who u meet.. i got some regrets on the amt of freebies i got...coz its quite little...but their gowns wow me...so i still signed.
French has lovely gowns too! its good u got what u wanted!

omg, this is always a worry for most btbs.. which ballroom did u get from M Hotel? the smaller one or bigger one? if u got the smaller one, ask whether can change to the bigger one or not? if u got the bigger one liao, den gota make a cut on the guest list liao(i noe, it's painful to do tat).. else, split into 2 bandquets? i read from some threads where some brides said that after sending invitiations, there's always ple who feedback can't makit, so will have less tables than projected.

my mom and mil oso been adding more tables to their initial number of tables.. haiz.. they can't make up their minds one leh.. =P

hmm...maybe you can find out from your partner what is it about the having a church wedding is he agst...it sucks not being able to have a church wedding (i'm catholic too and I can't imagine not having a church wedding)...but since this is something about your faith, see if a compromise can be made...like maybe getting the priest to do a private blessing for you n your partner after the ROM...

Chijmes has a non-deminational chapel (or so I've heard) so maybe U can have ur ROM there and have a lunch reception after tt or have the guests to go merchant court for your wedding dinner after that =)

i think you should let your coordinator know and ask for a re-take if you really are not satisfied with your photos...i am not sure about you but To me, bridal photos are very important... however, because our wedding in Jan, i believe Retaking now shouldn't be any problem..... but if you dun want to retake..also nvm, because you still have AD to take photos! Maybe get a very good photographer on that day, to make up for the loss...afterall, AD photos is more important than bridal photos.... because they show the Real Us....

oh, you have never seen her? I really like the gown I tried on and I dun think I really want to look ard so tt's why I decided to settle on BV. I tot Collin and another gal, Zelle, who were there were really nice anyway. I;m not sure if I'll be taking up their MUA. I already have one in mind initially. I tot Jace cld do me up both on ROM and AD. I'll see how Jace turns out to be. Trial will be in 2 weeks

Do you mean the vows that is to be exchanged during solemnization? I knew we can come out with our own vows, but were worried that the vows don't sound nice or that we can't rem during the exchange of the rings due to nervous, so call off the idea. Plus we want to do it w/o holding a piece of paper in hand, cos doesn't look romantic mah. Haha. But do come out with your very own vows, yours and yours alone =)

GG> May or may not. I have a very nice pearl chain watch which can serve as chunky bracelet with the face as a locket. May consider using it more for accessory rather than for time looking.

Aggiegal - yup, we have 2 vows to say, the marriage vow and the ring vow. Pastor gave us the standard template so that we can think about it for the next whole year. So far, nothing comes to my mind. But we decided we will go for something concise, sweet and truly ours

This wedding business is serious man. So many things to consider and decide. Am looking for actual day photographer now. Bridal, more or less quite done. Maybe another 2 or 3 bridal shops to visit, then will make up our mind.

Hope your hubby can fly with u each time, becos the last time i went to LA, i found it quite miserable to sit thru the 16 hours flight myself.

Hope we can still keep in touch even after you fly off to LA. Who knows you may know my physiotherapist too. Haha... your industry not very big leh.

Hi all,

I just got married last weekend.

Just a few things to let you know for a peaceful wedding:

1. make sure all things discussed are noted down and in front of family member. So that someone else noes what's going on and you will not be bothered on your wedding day with all the nitty gritty stuffs

2. make sure that your make-up artist is a genuine female. It's all about Hukum . Remember, we are our husbnad's wife and it's not RIGHT if the person that they sent is a transvestite. You wouldn't want people to talk anyway.

3. Make sure that the decos is a decor and it's complete. Even if it's not magnificent, it shld be befitting the budget and complete.

A lot of really good ones, caterer and decor, have gone from good to bad (really bad even!) due to greed - taking on more weddings than they can manage so just be wary.

Anyway, have a great wedding!
