rach: maybe it depends on the photographer? We engaged Adrian and we think he shoots well or at the very least, he manages to create a theme for his photo albums so we got him. I've known quite a few photographer friends in my university days but they are charging rather expensive rates now cos they're more established now, can't afford to engage them. Hence, we chose avenue8 and got linked up to adrian. maybe you can send me the link of your friend's photos? paid 500 deposit. we pay the rest (688) after everything. I just want a dvd with all the high res edited photos cos I intend to compile and make a magazine style album through online avenues.
should I panick about the solemnizer? I gathered that they don't really like to be booked way in advance. anyone knows who is already booked on 14th Sept so I dont go running to them. haha.

Hi JJ - Yes 2 VIP tables, 1 guy & 1 girl side and the couple sits with the guy's side. If both families can fit into 1 VIP table, that's fine as well.
And here's my question - anyone heard before that pregnant women cannot attend weddings? My MUA is pregnant so she's asking whether my elders wld be ok with her doing my makeup on the AD

how about if the siblings are unable to fit into 1 VIP table only, then is it approriate that bride side has more people than the groom side, i.e. bride sibling sit at VIP, while groom siblings dun.

hi kailing, like LSnTYL said, best to call them to check their availability. I finally found my JP that's available on my date 13 sept on my prefered time.. like you, i m opting for outdoor (for my case poolside), but the first 3 JPs i contacted were either not available, or only after 7.

I took my PS last friday before weekend. Was a long day... luckily for me the rain stopped in the early afternoon, so could take OD same day.
Most important thing is to enjoy the photoshoot... the mood is most important...Be happy and happiness will reflect in your photos.. oh ya, can do manicure and pedicure the night before PS.
I brought handheld fan, insect repellant and alot of barang barang but all never use...
Some not nice things that happened were pricked by sand and lost my footing when standing on the pebblestone at the beach. so kana a blue-black the size of an egg!! haha..

Meiling, I've chose my gown already...my designer says I shld bring my shoes for the first fitting so that she can adjust the length for me....I can't wait to go for my gown fitting, so i better get the shoes fast....
So far, only shoes from Essex walk caught my eyes...actually budget is $200 but think might have to increase budget to get from Essex walk...sigh, shall go shopping this weekend and determine where to get.

Hehe, I'm another one with itchy fingers...die die will want to disturb my pimples...when i was younger, the scars go away very fast...these days, they take a longer time to heal and now i'm starting to curb myself more successfully not to disturb my pimples. just rem to apply pimple cream.
actually providencia gave very good advice...avoid the mirror when pimples are popping out...i still rem the time when i had chicken pox then kept going to the mirror to look at myself...each time i looked, the more depressed i got. so i suppose if we don't look into the mirrors too often, then we won't always think abt the pimples on the face - so less tendency to disturb it?
Oh, and my beautician said its becos the back is oily that's why pimples pop out there...so she said to use foaming body cleanser to get rid of the oily back. and don not apply moisturiser to the back as well.

oh, regarding the pills to delay the onset of the menses, i took it a few times before....you have to see a doc to get the pills and to take the pills abt 2 days before your menses expected arrival date.
