Mingming - my AD on 19th Dec and venue is Traders Hotel. Ya my best fren probably getting ROM end of this year..

church : WG
lunch : sari
tea ceremony : CS or the same sari
dinner:
WG (cocktail + cake cutting b4 1st march in)
salsa dress = EG (prob whole duration)
sending off: either same or EG2
ok, all this considered too many changes?
dinner priority =dancing and chatting w guests
not really to have so many outfits.
indian weddings are quite long, as many smaller ceremonies before the real thing
the real thing is just 1 day lor.

rach, my hubby lazy type ah.. he dun want to go i also cannot force him... i only wanted 200 pcs. they charging $100, and also i decided to put some design so additional $10 bucks. I told my hubby this hotel recommanded printer, no need to meet up one, just send in the order form. He so happy and commented hussle free.

rach only have 1 day extra cos 31 Aug is 1 day of lunar 8th mth.. my AD 13th, i still have 2 weeks extra to pick up any loose ends..

I may not start printing my inserts in July cos guests may find it too early to confirm their attendance. Hehe I'll try to print in last week of August, just keep it hush hush from inlaws and parents

Hmm,
seems like I will be the only one with no change in gowns. I'll be sticking to my WG from morning till afternoon. My HTB was suggesting to get another gown but I die die only want to wear my WG. Cos I won't have another chance to wear WG after AD whereas for other gowns, sure got chance to wear. So want to maximise the time I wear WG

My recent wedding attended is using Canon in D for march in... and be my guest for 1st dish .. forget about 2nd march in hee hee.. actually as long as is not too funny... or out of place.. anysong is ok.. not very big issue.. no one really will go rem it... OR if u want ppl to rem then choose sth special or cute lor

Hi ladies, I am also doing lunch. But I will wear the WG,EG and tea dress provided by the BS. Now contemplating if I should tailor make one CS or a simpler EG as well. Just worried that all the time used to change into different gowns will leave me no time to eat! Haha...

GDL me n hubby still meet at my house. My hubby auntie came with him as mei ren. Hubby carried the stuff back himself, with a little help of his auntie. An chuan, like wat June says, is usually few days before AD. My GDL is 2 wks before my AD, and An Chuan is 5 days before AD.
As for PG, i feel it's kinda late, since ur wedding is in March, to find a PG available. Mayb you can try ur studio, to see if they offer PG. Wine you can try carrefour, i got them from carrefour, but it was during the wine fair sometime ago.
Good luck in ur findings.

Aiyo! You gals so active here. For me, I think 3 dresses is enough for the whole day - WG, EG and cheongsum. I want to spend more them interacting with my fren than to change in and out of dresses.
Sigh... got to get back to my books again. If not, I sure gonna flung my mock exam on Fri.

I just went shopping with FH on Monday. WEnt to Furniture Mall at Bras Basah... we got attracted to the offer....
we paid $600 deposit for:
1. L-Shaped Sofa with extra set of covers (fabric) + 2 throw cushions.
2. Coffeetable with black tinted glass
3. 5 Ft Dining Table (black tinted glass top) with 4 chairs (same fabric with sofa)
4. 2 High Back Bar Stool
5. King Size Mattress with Memory Foam.
Ehh...anyone wanna make a guess how much the above costs? heheh...
From Furniture Mall hor.. not neighbourhood shop hor.. kekeke.. not wholesaler also hor...
So its almost all furniture done.
Just need to get electronics later on...waiting for GSS in Jun/Jul.. prob can get better deals then...

My AD is 1 Sep.. more than 1 month in advance.. i've already gotten my first round of forecast for those pri, sec, JC, NUS friends... those that i still see every now and then..already verbally tell them.. most say okay.. but final round of forecast will be done ard late June, early July... and after i send out, will sms to remind them... of coz.. get helpers to forecast them la.. else we'll die of smsing 800 people.. hahah...
Maybe we can meet around Plaza Singapura?
