(2007) Brides of year 2007

Hi gals,

I just came back from choosing my solemnisation and wedding day bouquets. The florist came as part of the bridal package from Emanuel B, and she turned out to be part of Poppy Inc! It was absolutely brillant! Always good to work with someone with so much taste and sense. She got me to flip through some albums and point out bouquets I like and didn't like and after a while, she was able to figure out my preferences. I really like the bouquets we designed!!

We couldn't do the car decor cos I have no idea what car we are getting and what colour it is going to be! Hehe.

Goldfish, option 1 is better, though technically I think shouldn't use the word "grace"....?

it was fun! i loved it! hope to get the pics soon.. hmm.. the honeymoon can only happen in dec.. coz very diff to take leave..schools very sticky with leaves.. so only took 2 days marriage leave..

morning ladies...

been busy the past 2 days.. so din come in much...
yesterday went to belinda's place to view her shoes...
most of them are very nice! hehe...
so paiseh to let her take so many shoes out to let us try...and we really learn alot of tips from her.. from how to wear shoes to what must we standby for wedding day... really fun talking to her...

Jeraldin... my hubby say I can buy 2 pairs!! yeah!!
at 1st I ask him.. he say NO!
then I thought really cannot liao..
then he laugh suddenly.. say he joking only...
he say only married once.. so just buy.. haha..
think I will get the white one (with ribbon one) for my WG and the champange one for my EG..
but wana wait till I go for my 1st fitting...
wana double confirm my EG colour...

yestersday i go pick my hubby up after his class then i tell him i didn't buy any shoes.. coz there is alot of choices and all are very nice...

but now to think back.. i think i prefer the champagne colour shoe leh... the white on seems too loud for normal day wear le... em... thinking of going back maybe in late july or august to see if her new collections are in....

Jas must remember to send me the photos k?? then i can show my hubby.. =) Thanks

diva>> U R not the only one. My HB also left me to do ALL the wedding preps/planning myself. The only thing I insisted on him helping is to do his own guestlist cuz I dunno who he want to invite.

I'm also very frustrated cuz he can't seem to be bothered. Even when I asked him when is he going to get his parents to meet my mom to talk abt "pin jin"..he was like "still early lah...maybe dun even need" that kinda attitude! GRrrr...

junie>> hey at least he allows for a live band etc etc. your hb very pampers u liao. mine insisted on the hotel he chose n when i wanna florist to deco the place he also refused. wedding prep instead of helping out n when i asked him for guestlist etc etc he will also say still early. he has been saying that for mths n even thou i pointed out he will not be free to do all these once he is busy with his exams he still refused to do anything.

Do you all have any recommendations on girdle/corset/nu-bra?

I was looking at some candid shots taken by my helpers on my PS day....wah lao....THAT TUMMY!!

If we wear a high-waist girdle/corset inside, will the lines show ah? Cos the gowns are very smooth.....

diva>> haha...yeah, cuz I'm paying for most of it. Even for AD PG I'm also paying for part of it. I think to him, it's more like "i come out effort, he come out $$"...(well, at least most of it).

so I started to change his wardrobe..
buy clothes and jeans etc..
and throw away all his old clothes..
so he got no choice but to wear those I got for him..if not he will have to go out naked.. haha..

think I will try to put up the shoes and prices in our Dec 07 multiply site which only have a few of us.. cos its only for our own ref.. nobody can see.. not really nice to show all the ppl..

Really?! Seamless Corset?

I think I bought a supposedly seamless girdle for my prom night many years ago. But while the VPL parts didnt show, there was this huge, thick line at tummy area leh =/

diva>> Last time when me & my HB were dating that time, also dress up nice nice. Now he is mostly in his berms and t-shirts with slippers/sandals, unless we have dinner appt etc.

Now I also "adopt" his style. Dress casually & no makeup on weekends. Cuz I dress so nice for what? :P
 
Diva, pat pat... Guys generally are not as proactive... So it will get very frustrating at times.. Now i told my hubby to settle one thing every week.

belinda's friendly and helpful but she does not alot of shoes with my size though

I am thinking of getting the Wacoal "tummy trim" or "hip walker" girdle leh...can make the tummy flat or firm up the hips and butts depending on which one u choose but its quite expensive at $80+ wor...Think they are seamless.

For nu-bra, I have been searching also...seems liKe that bra is hard to find now...

junie>> ha. mine lagi best. he will dress extremely 'log' whenever we went out even during our dating stage. still got the cheek to ask me why i wanna dress in jeans n put up makeup for wat? i am always like this before i met him mah. someore its jeans n shirts wat. its not as if i really dress up in dresses or heels...so i told him its my dressing style mah but he still put on pressure on me n inisisted i wear shorts t-shirts to go out with him as he feel underdressed.

btw dun feel panicky..i m sure its already on the way...

I did went to a few wedding gift shop. Just see if there is any more shops i can go to b4 I decide.
I went to the shop at Defi Orchard, a few shop in bras brasah, ...etc Any where else?
 
Ya Im looking for those with Frills.
Budget wise depend on how much stuff is put on the basket.
The range I saw cost about 20-30++ for normal one with abit of decor. Which I dun think is worth it.

We love watching DSD & also comedies by Wild Rice Production, especially when there's Hossan Leong. My HB & my "official first date" was actually catching the Magic Fundoshi by Wild Rice. hehee.
 
Junie> Ya i like production from Wild rice...so funny...My friends n I always watch their production. I think we seating upstair cause no more seat left when we try to book stall. Too big group is like that.
