<font color="119911">I had a great weekend. Went to a small island off Batam to help the villagers plant banana seedlings... we managed to transplant about 500 seedlings from agar culture to plug plates. most meaningful thing i did this year.
the life there is so different, even though it's so near singapore! we're hoping that the bananas can grow well in that soil, and they can sell the crops to send their kids to school.
we sang carols and played games with the kids, and one of the little boys who was about 3 years old, just held my hand and dragged me all around running... he only stopped after I managed to convince him to kick a ball around with me.
it was back to Singapore yesterday evening, and then had to look at my home and settle some reno stuff, and today it's more reno stuff.
but glad that my home reno finishing soon!</font>

Any recommendation or suggestion where we can find shoes? Cant seem to find suitable ones, i am looking for off the shelves type.
I just went for my gown selection last sat. Looking forward to the PS in march. They say even if i take the PS in march, the earliest they can give me the photo is in late June.
Some advise for those who are thinking of doing montage or DIY photo album. Its better to settle the PS earlier.

Hi puroland, Actually, I didn't make special effort to buy shoes cos I feel shoes will be hidden most of the time under the gowns... people will only look at the upper part of your body cos there's where eye level and jewelry are. I bought my shoes from Bata. It's satin silver, with diamente. Cost me only $39.90. I can wear anything to go with it as long as I wear diamond accessories.

yah boy drea.... how i wish to hatam him but looking at the timing, will do so after his wedding.... now juz have to zoom in to help him already
jas, my SIL does alot of things liao but think it's also difficult for her cos she cannot possibly be running the show alone somemore she and my bro always work till very late. worse, my bro only came back on 8 dec from a mth company trip so not all his invites are even sent out!!! talking abt behind schedule, think they are screwed!!! and guess what, they have not even gotten their photo montage done, not collected their wedding photo.... sigh~~~~ me down here panicking for them and they like not moving fast!!!

sigh~~~ they very cute one lah... everything also wanna save $$... can u believe it, the reason why the invites was not sent out earlier becos it was not printed... and becos they are still exploring how to print their own invites rather than send it to the printers. that one also ultimate! i was on mc for 2 days that time, in the end spend 1/2 day typing out the framework for them and then trying to find nice fonts for them... sigh~~~ my bro and SIL really ought to thank me man!!!
so by the time the cards are printed, my bro already overseas liao for one week.... so by the time he comes back, well, u know the rest....

i also dunno how she do it.... i only help them with the chinese framework and typing the wordings.... the rest is my SIL doing and to be frank, she did quite a good job
think she cut papers the size of the invites and trial and error the printing and align accordingly till she's satisfied then she starts printing on the actual card... save $$ bah but time consuming lor

My bro already thankful tt my AD postphoned so he got more time to figure out how to siam singing at my church wedding =P and wp, they dun just owe u their thanks, they owe u an all expenses paid vacation at the rate their going!!! =P

But so far so good =) Btw, white glue is not the same as elephant glue. White glue is basically those craft glue..when it comes out, it's not transparent like normal glue..(hence the name). See what u need to stick and how strong u need it to be then buy accordingly lor. coz elephant glue is quite strong n i only scared it might spoil the ribbon or the overall effect...=)

janice, ur wedding gonna be weekend? if so, most hotels dun provide free flow beer. i only know le meridien does thru all my hotel search. unless weekday, then most hotels are negotiable to provide free flow beer

jas, I also using printers to print mine. I printing mine on tracing paper then find a nice firm paper to act as the backing n provide the colour n stuff =)

yep, drea, i also made my own invites for ROM but as u said, that's smaller qnty. somemore that one i no need to keep a specific frame cos i create myself and can cut and paste accordingly but theirs muz align properly cos they print right on the card, any wrong printing, the card will be wasted

not a pleasant experience for me...
