I do not have any samples with me, they will not pass it to you to bring home. They will show u some of their templates meant for wedding invites and u can select from there. I'm not so particular about paper quality or layout hence I'm picking their standard type.

I'm going down tomorrow to confirm the details to be printed and from then they will proceed to do the artwork for me. I'm not printing maps, its extra cost but I can't rem the charges. If u are not in a hurry, I can show u mine when they have completed the artwork.

hi cactus,

the norms for gowns change is from WG to EG only and tat change will normally happen after the 2nd dish of the banquet.. however, i did encounter brides changing again for the goodbye time.. tat means from EG to probably Tea-Dress.. they will do it 2 dishes before the banquet ends or right after the phototaking session.. it's kind rush esp when you're more than 30 tables to take photos and many good pals' sabotage to handle.. it's very subjective.. you probably need to gauge urself if u wanna do the same or stick to the norms and spend more time with your guests... ^_^

Yuki, yup, get ready one sample card and all the details that u would like to be printed before meeting them. and yes, they do provide the strings and we have to tie the inserts to the cards ourselves.

anyway, the wedding show @ PPR was quite disappointing.

the bridal show, gowns not nice one.

me & my galfren was like laughing to ourself & 'criticizing" abt the gowns among oursleves, kekeeke.

but the geomancy talk was pretty interesting. i learnt quite a few things.

i printed from tdragon coz recommended by hotel... lazy to source from another printer. service is good so far but hv to agree with shers, everything need $$! luckily both me n hubby not particular about invite since our mentality is ppl will just throw away anyway, so never add a lot of extras.

i think it's very impt which BS the hotel tie up with to do the show lor

cuz the highlight to many is the bridal fashion show.

but overall, it's good for BTB or GTB to attend wedding shows of shortlisted hotels they intend to hold their banquet.

at least can see the setup of the room, "pre-taste" the food, carpark, etc.

actually one thing which i didn't realise until i go to the wedding show @ PPR is how "lok" the carpark is and it's kinda inconvenient for guests to walk from the carpark into the Plaza Shopping Mall then into the hotel.
