Just attended (& helped out) at a wedding at rasa sentosa last nite. Food was quite nice and the groom borrowed Mark's clarinet to perform a solo for his bride to their fav song....She was so shocked n touched....it was a beautiful ceremony...only snag was that the buses with the relatives from the various parts of the island were all stuck in jams so it was kinda hard for them to get in and we started like 1 hr later....

haha once the reno preperations starts it will take the bulk of our time..me too getting busy on reno..since our wedding is in oct, must finish slightly before that rite! i'm aimin to finish reno + move in furnitures by aug/ early sept....
have u got ur id/contractor? I just met up one contractor last sat. will be meetin another one next wk while waiting for the quotations...
so happy finally found my dream bed frame yesterday! the very 1st piece of furniture that we bought even before our house is ready! haha a bit KS ??

Today met up with my ID to see our 3D prespective drawings. Must admit, keke, the drawings met our expectations

Now is headache which items we wanna remove from the quotation to fit into our budget.

My lovenest still retifying...sigh, 3rd round of retifications le. 2nd time round, Franz told them to retify a big scratch on our parquet, end up the parquet was discoloured -_-||| Told them to seal up the gaps between the skirting and flooring properly. They did that, at the expense for 3 corroded corners. I really have nothing to say. Luckily we not in a hurry to move in, else sure go mad.

HB & I had a very busy but fruitful weekend.

Friday (23/03/07)
Went down HDB to collect keys (finally!). Then went to our new house at night to see if the owner has cleared all their stuff.

Most cleared except their many pots of plants & flower pots still outside the house! Grrr..

Guess we have no choice but to clear it ourselves.

Sat (24/03/07)
1) Went to Ximula/Aluminix to place order for their pole system for our WIW. They're clearing their current stock...so we got 30% discount.

Also custom-made a coffee table from them.

2) Went to select our tiles for the whole house at Soon Bee Huat @ Toh Guan. So much selection to choose from.

3) Went to Cellini & ordered our dining table.

Had my 1st gowns fitting @ MBR!

I like my gowns very much! Though it's just plain cuz 2nd fitting that will have embellishments sewn on it, I like the cutting.

My HB likes my WG a lot too!

The only bummer is the pair of silver shoes I bought is not really suitable for my EG. So I need to search ALL over again for a pair.

If not, u can opt for OTR pkg in BS....im sure some of the pkg can be quite affordable loh...moreover u can try all the gowns available b4 deciding what u wan... OTR pkg also includes PG, PS and makeup, so u dun have to fret over all these...
Have to agree with glad that D'sire is not bad! Their gowns are nice, affordable too! Maybe u can check it out... =)

Hehee... Yalor, my little piglet is a bonus... I told my hubby that its our Valentine's Day gift for this yr!

Anyway, just something to share... Better dun aim for dragon baby... Very jialat for the kids, imagine got to fight for school place, jobs etcc.. That's what happen to my younger bro! He is born in the year of dragon but he is a Rabbit! I remember that time, we shifted house. My parents had a hard time trying to find a school for him coz most of the schools' capacity are full!

I personally prefer tiger babies! Coz most tiger ppl i know, my Mum & cousins... They re very independent and capable! Wont be that easily bullied!
