Hi walktheman, I'm having solmenization at a function room in Ritz-Carlton.Small affair for 26 pax - closest relatives only. It's solemnization immediately followed by dinner. I have FH and my attire to figure out, and the bouquet. How are your preparations? When's your AD? Mine's in Sept next year...

Hi Shir, mine is a sit-down dinner style. The package I sent you includes all the floral decors,etc. The package I sent to you has a minimum of 100 pax, but it may be possible to get around it if u pay the minimum revenue.
Sorry, I don't have any packages for buffet, but my understanding is the the cafe offers international buffet and they have held solemnization there before but it is not an enclosed area and would not have decorations although they can arrange for a solemnization table to be placed there. I think they have space up to 20 plus people cos they will try to put you in a quiet corner. Can't recall the name of the cafe, but it's at Lobby Level and very to Summer Pavilion, the chinese restaurant. Best to go down to check the place out - initially fiance and I thought of solemnizing there, but eventually decided it's still too "open" so decided to go for a function room instead...

I have got my rings from Lee Hwa and was given a ring pillow.
Have already sent out the invitation cards.
Now what I lack is photographer and a pair of matching shoes.
Just a month away.. I'm more and more worried. Very afraid that I might miss smething out.

My ROM will be 19/10/06. Just want to hear some comments. I had signed up a wedding package with Mr & Miss Wedding Club. In the Package they include hair do & make-up. When i called the make-up artist she told me she will jus help me tie up my hair and for make-up she highlight to me that if i want to put false eyelash it will be chargeable. Jus want to find out is it a common practise?

But then ur hair styling, at least do some patterns and design that make you beautiful, not just tie up only.
You shld 'demand' frm them more, try to be a difficult customer.
How much is your package? is the dress/gown on rental?

u are right, the ROM makeup and hairstyling is basic.
the person wanted to charge me extra for putting on ampule ($25), fake lashes(forgot how much) and if u want to perm hair ($30).
in the end, i didnt want all those.
but she will tie ur hair nicely and do some simple styling. but my hair ends were straight.
my MUA was Candy from Mr n Miss.
My ROM was at Amara, i requested them to do it at the hotel for me, but they couldnt, so i had to travel to their studio.
if u need them to travel, got to pay extra $50.

oooo i read some other threads, they were complaining this girl Candy from Mr and Miss or wat bridal studio, owner is some Prof Tan, saying they have lots of problem with getting the gown and even the makeup artist to do their makeup leh...siao liao. i got a fren who was attracted by their advertisement, wanna sign with them.
