for next sun, me on tentative first cos i'm supposed to go to my friend's bb shower in the aftern... that was why we changed the trial to 16 mar..... so for me is tentative...
 
Hi, sorry i got a question on storing the EBM again.

1. when do we come to a point to freeze the EBM? cos hor, i pump 4 times per day and put in the normal fridge, just in case not enough then i will supplement.... so i dont dare to freeze.
but today i realise, i still have 3 bottles frm the day before yesterday, by end of today i think must throw right?

2. If we dont throw, can i freeze the milk at this junture? or it is too late already? not suppose to freeze?

For me, i only freeze bm that is 250 - 300ml and above (one time pumping)...

So far, Jayden has drank ebm that is pump 3 days prior before...and the milk is still oki, didnt turn sour lei....

U can always smell the ebm first before u give to ur bb... in case, it have a sour smell, then u have to throw the milk away..

winnie, the rule of thumb is for chilled milk, can put in fridge for about 5 - 7 days... for frozen milk is about 1 month. but for those in deep frozen fridge, can freeze for 3 months.
for me i only start to freeze when i have enough ss in the chiller for the next 2 days. and i don't freeze at every pump... only when i have excess for the 2 days ss, then i freeze and then the next pump i will put to chiller to make up for the 2 days ss again... so freeze is just for standby niah... but take note that not all bb likes frozen and thawed milk hor.... cos frozen milk when thawed got a kind of smell - fishy smell....

jam, can order! i got a black dress from forever. quite worth it coz the material is gd. i read from another participant can go to the sg outlet to try out the size.

i freeze around 120 ml everytime. lesser ones muz chill but i only keep for 24 hrs. scared keep too long no gd.
 
Ladies, noted, then I need to work and see how to handle the freezing part.

Cotton my girl hair is very very thin one, so it is actually very little hair, but covers whole head.

she just woke up in fright screaming, and crying. twice liao, once yesterday night and now again... do you all face this problem before?
 
winnie, mi gal was like that too, we got a shock thking why she is screaming. after a while, she stopped that. we were thking is it coz she is not used to things happening. maybe got nitemare.

winnie, hee...ya gave u a fright rite? juz cuddle her if she really screamed non stop lor. mi gal sometimes will cry short while during her sleep. thk nite mare. den continue sleeping.

haiz...same like mi gal, everybody say look like hubby. so sad, carry her for 9 mths, comeout only look like mi for 3 days and den now like daddy! grr....

when he is turning to 5mth, then start to look like me...., then now me smiling with (^_^) lor... ha ha ha

Ting, they do give shower gel and shampoo, but cant use if you are not intending to bath hehee like me.

Need to bring PJ yourself, cos they will ask you to change into your own PJ. Bring open front one simple. top and bottom. If you are on drip etc, they will sponge you.

yah loh, my SIL there saying she got their eyes, big ones. I am thinking, what???!! I mean I have big eyes too ok (behind the glasses) so why people say only follow their genes???
 
pierced, yah loh. i was very shocked and scared the first time. and when i pick her up and cuddle, her eyes are wide open with shock.... so heart pain...

U packing ur hospital bag now ???? Remember to bring at least 2 - 3 sets of PJ, in case u stain ...as the 1st few days, the flow is really quite jialat !!!!

jenn- i hvnt buy PJ yet leh. wil do so this wkend. i bot the madaam maternity pads. duno gd anot. jus buy only. haha

For the maternity pads, i would recommend the master Q brand which is only available in Giant..is really good and long... like 20pcs for $5 bucks plus.

ha ha, i oso bathe with warm water in the hospital..... tt time my mum oso never request must BATH in herbal lei... in hospital, can bath, can drink plain water.... once discharged, must drink the longan water, must wash hand in ginger water, must bath only with herbal ......

Master Q brand is stick on type? thick enough for heavy flow? Cos i normally use the Kotex string type lor..but each time need to use 2 pieces cos my flow are all bery heavy de...so at least won't gana my panties...

my mum says can bathe but w herb water lor. u noe nw, my mil also wan to be involved in my confinemt! i hear liao sianz half man. tot she all along bo chap one, ytd called my hb n asked hw's the arrangemt for my confinemt, she also wan to take leave n help!! =_=

can just go to any medical shop n tell them for bathing during confinement,its ready pack one..
that time i usde both madamn n master Q.both are good.

Yap, that time, my CL still cut slices of ginger and put in a small pail with water for me to wash hand only.... and there is also a thermal to pour in hot water... can only wash hair with warm water.... but there are many times me didn obey lah.... ha ha ha

Yap, is those stick on (without wings), cos is abt 35cm... really long and abosrb quite well... as every 2 - 3 hours, u need to change the pad liew... the flow is really heavy for the 1st 1-2weeks... my menses came for 40 days.... and my confinement oso full 40days... ha ha ha

Please lor,we are in asian country lei, so hot, how can tahan no bath ??? Further bb latch on, u oso will sweat...... so must bath daily with herbals lor...
