pierced how come kakis gone?
i alwiz buzz my hb to go with me..recently i know a sept bride stays below my hse...i went ktv with her last week... 2 of us...hehehe
nxt time a bunch of us can go 2gether...though i not sing v gd la...
not old la..we are all young!
 


orh...coz some no time , some gave up singing...only one or 2 left but cant find time to go.
Mi hubby? he dunno how to sing one! cannot 'kao' him!
ya lor, mi can hide in teh rm and sing la but not gd too.

can i check with you hor, the flower gal and page boy will hold hands rite? then hor, how the gal throw the confetti cos she still need to hold the basket rite? or they just walk together and dun hold hands and the gal will carry basket in one hand and throw with the other? i was thinking to let them hold hands so she wun anyhow run lor.

jam, yup mi mum knows. act she worried for us coz afraid we no $$ but we insist dat we pay on our own lor. mi hb side worse coz he's supporting his parents liao. luckily he has a lot of savings. haha...i always envy his bank acc. so muz tell miself to save up oso.

pierced, ask u hor, did Mr Chan ask u to say any vows besides "I Do"? cos hor, i scared i too anxious that nothing goes into my head and i will be stressed if i need to read out anything.....

for the banquet, will pay using the angbao $, if not enough then FMIL will top up cos my FH has been giving her a sum of $ every month after graduation so she keeps this $ for his wedding...
as for bridal gifts (si dian jin, pin jin, suckling pig etc) his parents will pay
everything else like BS package, wine, AD PG & VG, house reno, furniture etc me and FH pay thru monthly installments... very siong... ever since i started wedding prep, no savings at all every month.... all go into installments liao

i noe i noe wat u gals tokking abt liaoz.. who paying for wedding ah?? me and fh pay on our own.. sob sob.. his parents not much savings plus no CPF type so u can imagine lah.. sometimes i feel very stressed over money.. coz i come from a more comfy background.. not well to do but dun need to worry abt money coz just enuff.. now everytime must worry abt money.. wat's more my fh helping to see his bro thru SIM.. must set aside 500 bucks on top of wat he gives his parents every mth for his bro.. so virtually ipossible for him to save.. sometimes i feel scared when i think abt all the financial burden..

anyone thinking of creating a website to put all the wedding pics, details, RSVP for banquet etc? most of the websites i know of only provide 15MB leh... so little

caitlyn, mi situation same as urs. Mi hb parents those type who dun care for future and no savings. so if in future they fall sick, burden on both of us lor. i dun have to bother abt mi parents coz they wealthier den mi, haha...they got everything planned liao lor.

sep holidays coming!! hai, me same boat as u leh, tink of the financial burden also v scared. my parents no savings n cpf running dry le.. i reali duno when they can retire n nxt time how.

daphne- tink nid to recite vows after the JP, rite pierced? for me, i nid to memorize weddin vows leh. a must for couples getting married in my church.. stressed siah~~

pierced - his parents not the kind tt dun care.. but those kind tt are low income, not educated type.. sometimes will feel very stressed esp now coz a bit sianz tt gotta pay for his bro.. hee.. i dun mind helping out but 500 a mth very taxing for someone like us who just start work lorz.. and his bro a bit laid back.. not actively looking for tut assignments or some way to earn extra money.. he says he tries but i dun see the effort.. instead, it's me who's giving tut and taking on ad hoc assignments.. so sometimes feel like why i must suffer lor?? hee.. sorry to be so complaintsome.. my parents a bit the kind tt never relly save but they are rather well covered by insurance so hopefully everything will work out fine.. =)

Ting, ya lor...mi colleague had hers in church and we laff coz the couple forgot wad they supposed to say.

caitlyn, they dun really bother to save, oso lower income grp lor. in fact now they retire, they take out cpf $$ to go hols even, sometimes gotta watch wad i say to hb too incase i offend him thking his parents poorer or something. mi parents can cover for themselves as they still wking but dun wish to bother them since the paying for mi bro's overseas uni fees.

think can use software like dreamweaver or frontpage to do it... quite easy to use.... my FH used to do it for his CCA in uni last time... so me thinking of asking him to do for our wedding... like wedding gift to mi lor

hamster_gal - can totally empathise..for me, i put my foot down n say, even if gotta wipe dry savings, i wanna go HM .. if not may nvr get a chance coz our financial burden will never ever decrease.. maybe i got no hse so can still afford to wipe out watever little savings we have to go for a HM..

pierced - my fh's parents still not bad.. they very nice ppl so i dun feel tt bad.. just tt they a bit simple minded sometimes.. they thot tt my fh paying for his bro's studies rather than just loaning the money... i nearly fainted.. and the mum was not v happy when she knew it was a loan.. told my fh he sld just sponser his bro.. more than 20K lehz.. how can? in fact, my poor fh just pay finished his own tut loan then gotta pay for bro.. i heart pain for him also. cannot rest and enjoy some life..
