newbbi- last wed aldan's temp went up to 39.3! me reali freaked out. heng subsided aft givin him medi. but nxt day went up again to 38.5 his temp alwz rises in the mornin at 7plus! again gv medi n was ok. fri again measured 39. so immed sent him to kkh.
 
ting, actually it's common for kids to have higher temp in the morning cos morning temp is always slightly colder and thus their temp will rise to counter the chills....
but as long as the temp doesn't stay the same in 1 hr or 2 hrs then i think they are ok.....
i'm starting to become immune to the high temp in andrea liao... her fever when comes always very high one..... the last one being 39.9! i just kept sponging her and gave the bullet and paracetomol and monitor.... as such, i've discussed with my mum and hb last night that we will wait till andrea is 3 yrs old then send her to sch... hee..... hb was against her going sch right from beginning and i got the "I told you so" yesterday from him..... irritating...
 
and i've learnt from PD that the ear thermometer will always register 0.5 degrees higher than oral temp which is the more accurate one so if the ear temp is 38.5, don't panic, sponge and give paracetomol... i usually give bullet when her temp is like 38.7..... if below that, i try not to give cos the bullet pill is quite heavy in dosage actually... and hor, my PD ever told me when giving bullet pill, remember don't give the chinese herb "ling yang" cos they are the same.... that time my mum ask the PD at RH and the PD say if we are giving andrea ling yang to reduce her fever then she won't give the bullet liao cos too much is no good for them.... body cannot take it...
 
daphne- i gt a shock when i touched him n he was so hot! 1st time his temp rise to so high n i scare damage his brain. i sponge him, he scream n scream.
actuali it's gd to let andrea stay at hm 1st since gt ppl takin care of her. go ccc bound to get sick v easily
 
newbbi, actually common for kids below 12 to be on a higher temp. i dun thk 37.5 is considered fever yet, depend on where u take the temp and with which thermo. mine's ear and it's 37.8. i thk armpit is slightly lower only.

Now hor, i also got no idea how to plan..If I were to let charlotte go cc when she is 18mths, then need my mil to bring her to cc in the morning ard 7am, cos i go out of my hse at 6am liao..then if half day cc, also need my mil to bring her back..So I am not sure if it is right for me to find a cc near my hse or at her hse..hmm... so if after 3yrs, I graduated, then my mil will go bk to stay at her own hse at sengkang eastway, by then charlotte will be 3-4yrs old liao..hmm...

coz megan will move here and there, she will not sit still.

daphne, i tried cutting but i gave up coz i afraid i will cut megan with the scissors.
 
pierced, oic... hee, for me i either cut her hair myself or my maid will cut or when i go and trim my hair, i ask the hairdresser to give andrea a foc haircut at the same time (that time my hairdresser cut a bob hairstyle for her)... hee..... so far she only went to the one at vivo for a proper baby haircut just before CNY.....

newbbi, i think probably cos andrea's hair is long so i got no problem about her top part... all i need is to trim her fringe and the ends of the hair
 
newbbi, same lor, the recent one i brought her really have to entertain her to keep her still.

i dun dare to cut her fringe even coz she will sweep mi hand away every time.i tried cutting in the bath oso no success.
i mostly only get them to cut bob, want to keep her hair longer, it looks so messy. so hers is a super short bob. haha

newbbi, same as megan, the hair tickles her ear so she dun like it, mi mum will keep nagging mi to cut it shorter each time. hee...

i wont want it to be very long for megan coz really thk it will be too messy and hot for her. so rite now just stick to bob, i guess.

Nope, didnt win anything... the prizes are only for the guest ! Overall was quite successful, over 200 pax guest turn up, took our geek pack and goodies bag ... me was helping out @ the reception table and goodies bag !

Yap, indeed was very tired meh... slept at 1plus and wake up at 7plus by Jayden. He refused to leave the bedroom with me..so I have to drag myself .... and also the weather is damn super hot ! I had a cold shower before coming to work, once I am walking towards Rivervale Mall, me start to sweat again... waited 10min for cab but no cab...and the queue was long ! in the end still have to call for cab !!! Sigh !

Regards Chicken pox vaccine, Jayden had it after his MMR, the GP didnt recommend to take it together.... At the age of 2 years old, is to take Hep A (Optional vaccine) but i think I will just Jayden take. Is good to cover all vaccine.
