Harlo all! Wah so many postings ah! ytd din cme wrk cos aldan was coughin n pukin aft his milk. Sighz…. Reali hope he wil recover soon. V v tiring for me =( n my af reported ytd! Hahah.. finally aft 3 weeks! My cycle reali ki siao liao.

hi all,
was on half day urgent leave.
inez is having fever since sunday. on and off.
this morning 37.5, sure school will reject. then hb gotta go office in the morning, so now i am at work, he is at home taking care of inez.

inez was like aldan drink milk, cough then vomit. for almost 1 mth. so waht we do is to reduce the milk, so she is not so full then when cough, at least not so bad. maybe you can try.

Yes, my boy is drinking pediasure complete. y i choose this is because my boy is quite choosy abt food, worried he might not get enough nutrient lor..

cos i an mixing gain iq and pediasure for my gal, but she dun like and refuse to drink.
tot pediasure is much sweeter than normal milk powder, dunno y, she dun like.
now what i do is only adding little bit each day to her existing milk. hopeful one day she can switch over completely.

currently my boy drinking 6 oz which i made 3 full scoop nia..din follow the instruction on the tin lor..

her normal milk intake is 180ml 3 to 4 times a day.
the 1st time, i mixed 2 scoop of gain iq to 1 scoop of pediasure. she drink 2 sip only, she dun want leow.
then pour away. then i make another bottle with 2.5 scoop of gain with half a scoop of pediasure, then she drink.
for 3 days leow. i am slowly increasing the pediasure.
she is not choosy on food but cos she have been coughing and one of the allegy in children is milk that cause cough also. that's the reason that i want to change milk cos also the lactose is only 0.05%.

linda, dunno if this is the same brand of medicine for phlegm but mi colleagues all strongly recommend 'actifed' (hope correct spelling) can get fr the pharmacist coz most of their kids hv bad phlegm and they use it. will help the kids cough out the phlegm.

linda, i forgot to check the name of the cough syrup cos was working late the last 2 nights.... reached home bathe and knock out after planting kisses on andrea... haha...
but i do remember the name starts with rhit.....nol (something like that - it's pink in color)... just ask the pharmacist and i'm sure they know which one...

btw, i'm now torn between sending andrea to playgroup or hold off till she is older..... i found one opp my office currently and it's only $350 per month for half day after subsidies.... but my boss was telling me that if i have maid at home, then don't send her to school yet cos if not will be constantly sick and with me now preggy, better don't risk it esp when it comes to HFMD cos i'm not supposed to keep having fever and when my #2 is out, the bb will also be exposed to germs that my girl brings home from sch..... she advised me to let her go when she is 3 cos got maid at home to look after...... unless no maid then bo pian.... how how how?

SINGAPORE: Singapore has confirmed its first case of Influenza A (H1N1).
The patient is currently being treated at the Communicable Disease Centre at Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH) and is in stable condition.
The patient is a 22-year-old Singaporean woman who was in New York from May 14-24.
She arrived back in Singapore from New York on SQ25 on 26 May at 6.30am.
She began to develop a cough while onboard.
She passed the thermal scanner uneventfully as she did not have fever then.
Later in the morning, she consulted a GP who decided to send her to TTSH via a 993 ambulance, given her travel history.
She was immediately admitted for testing. Laboratory confirmation of her infection was made by midnight of 26 May.
The patient has been vigilant in monitoring her own condition and had sought immediate medical attention once she realized that she was unwell.
Her attending GP, through his quick response in activating the 993 ambulance for the patient, had also helped to minimize the spread of infection from this case.
The Health Ministry says it has initiated contact tracing of her close contacts. They will be quarantined and provided with antiviral prophylaxis.
Passengers who had travelled in the same flight and were seated in rows 52 to 58 are urged to call the hotline at 1800-333 9999 to enable the MOH to check on their health condition.
The MOH adds that all medical practitioners and healthcare institutions should continue to be vigilant to suspect cases.
Singapore will continue with temperature screening for passengers entering Singapore at all checkpoints (land, sea and air).
All passengers passing through or entering Singapore are given Health Alert Notices on board their flights, advising them to monitor their own health if they have been to affected areas and to seek medical attention immediately if they are not well.

crystal, my 2 bosses going to US in June and July for 1 month!!!!! siao liao lah... i'm like always exposed to all these virus in my office... one batch of colleagues also just came back from US last week cos we got some events there.... heng i'm preg cos if not, i'm supposed to go there too.....

i already got high fever once in my current preg so i don't want to risk another time and with andrea going to sch, she'll be prone to sickness and something that i cannot afford to have at the moment.....

daphne, i was also having the same dilemma as u. my maid might b going back for good..so dunno whether to take new maid or send ryan to cc.i for the idea of cc but hb is against..he wans to get a new maid.. but then ryan is not those who will warm up to strangers easily.. he will sure reject the new maid.. now can only hope tat my maid will cont'd her stay for at least another yr.
