mornin all!! cant believe my sis' weddin over le! keke... the most touching part was when my dad dedicated a song for the newly weds. made all of us tear lor! haha... he said thou 2nd time marryin off daughter, he stil cant help but cry. my sis now shiok lor, in krabi HM thn nxt mth gg maldives. make me super envy!!!

linda- gd tat u r beta =) me tinkin only lah... as i said, i rather wrk thn be sahm nw le. hahahha... maybe rest for a mth or so.. also depends if i can find a new job thn.

Am on 3 days leave from monday till wed......
Force to clear leave..... sigh but still home working cos of the 2011 budget....

Hmm, Jayden was having stomach flu since last friday, vomit for at least 10 times, medicine he ate all came out, was 100% dehyated... in the night, went to back to clinic again and Dr insert medicine via his backside, and the vomit stopped immediately !!!!!!

morning all..

off in lieu today coz of sports day on sat.. cait made it thru her first unaccompanied class (where wooden doors were closed) with NO tears! hee.. she is os much more indept than isaiah! 2nd child i guess.. hee.. actually seeing that she's so used to zoo already i wonder if i sld just let her stay on there to do her kindy.. but problem is they just dun hv morning slot for isaiah liao.. then dun make sense for me to send to 2 diff schools or to 2 diff sessions.. so i guess no choice got to let her withdraw at end of the year lor.. and go to canossian.. hope she will like it at canossian too..

newbbi - can understand y ur mum wont want to take lrt back and forth.. can be v tiring i guess.. as she's not young.. PCF has no sch bus? or any nearer school with a sch bus? coz if zoo is already double the PCF fees, imagine addinf the cost of e sch bus fare.. sch bus fees can come up to quite a lot! have u visited the schools yet? cait attending zoo enrichment twice a week since aug.. it's parent accompanied but they feel she's indpt enuff to move on to wat they call the "advanced toddlers" class which is not parent accompanied
 
linda - thanks! hee.. i was quite sure she wldn't cry.. but glad she din prove me wrong! she's now on this 'big gal' phase.. wants to be a big gal so must go school herself etc! v cute! how's ur cough? n how's inez? saw ur fb tt she can do maths! she's really smart!

yup, have been trying to teach her simple maths, using my fingers.
then she surprise me ytd by using her own fingers and do her own counting.
i write on the paper, then she take up her fingers and count. she tried to write the answer, but cant write properly and not very accurate. but i feel that she is trying her best. hee...
hb said i stress her too much. opps!
she is not smart lah, in fact she is a person who need to push kind. if i relax, she also relax.
 
linda - yah.. i think so lor.. he looks to the sister alot.. but 1 bad thing abt isaiah is he always like to compare and must be e best.. then if sth he cannot do, he wun even try.. mei mei will just try and do.. cannot then try again type.. v different.. isaiah lacks self confidence and we also dunno hw to help him with it.. sighz

maybe read up on how to build up isaiah's confidence?
inez has both your kids charactor.
she wants to be the best and cannot lose out, she will keep trying and trying. but she is also lack of self confidence.

just received her report book last friday, form teacher said that she is good in her language and a sense of humour, but need to learn to share and more polite to the friends.
chinese teacher said she is a cheerful gal, good learning ability but she cant sit still in class and when writing, keep changing hands, left to right or right to left.
 
linda - i read books before.. but like no use.. i think some things are inborn.. we just keep tryg to encourage him lor.. hee.. at least she will try and try.. isaiah also keep changing hands type.. then he super lazy.. haven't colour 1 min so v v tired n need to rest!

oic... i think not all reading are proven to be effective bah.
i also read a lot and try to use on inez, certain things works, certain things still no use.

inez like to draw, colourings and writing, i suppose her cousin (hb's niece) whom is inez favourite jie jie influence her bah.
cos hb's niece love to draw and colour too.

study for exam, any homework given, 1st thing reached home she will do leow.
dun even need anyone to ask her whether home done or exam/test study already?
in fact she stress herself. my sil never stress her at all.

ya loh. if inez is like her jie jie, i have less headache leow.
imagin when ask what she want for bday or x mas present, she told us, story book, puzzle or colouring or assessment book.
she can finished one whole assessment if she got nothing to do and my sil gotta ask her to stop.
told my sil also that too stress on the kid herself also not very good.

just small disagreement. not serious but he also give me discouragement instead of encouragement, which can really make you very disappointed.
i must tell myself to prove him wrong then he will keep his mouth shut.

ting - my hb lor.. his colleague scared him so he asked me check.. and hor the irony is we are not even gunning for some TOP ELITE sch. just the nearest NEIGHBOURHOOD sch.. ridiculous rite? the other next nearest is inconvenient.. so really want to get into this one within walkg dist!

newbbi,better not take too long to decide, u really running out of time. Just Kids schl fees is $161 after subsidies. ryan is attending the morning 8-11 session. u can call to enq in vacancy, char is 2008 child so shld be attending N1 nx yr.

so our gathering will be postphoned to Oct?

crystal, i think alot of old students frm there r still staying in tat area so their kids will also go to princess tats y.. i see alot of familiar faces frm pri schl ard... and that is the only pri schl ard our area, others gotta tk bus liao.

linda, which is the nearest schl for u in sk? sk got a very popular schl rite? is it Tao Nan or? there is a pri schl just behind my blk in sk.. think its cld Vista something.. if i move back to sk then will try to reg there.

Zoophonics is $330 per mth, plus sch bus $150, so per mth is already $480...more ex than cc lor..hiaz..

how is ryan's cough?
ard my area there is a few choice that i can have.
nearest is Rivervale Pri, then sengkang Pri, over at punggol side is Mee Toh Pri which is from my block just cross over the express way thro the bridge.
I am looking at Mee Toh.
i want inez to be in a buddhism school to study "Fo Jing". cos inez need to be discipline and "fo Jing" can train her patience.
but if really cant get in, then will be rivervale Pri leow. which is less than 10 mins walk.

but then again, i also tot of that if she goes to pri school, then after school no one to take care, will have to take school bus to my mil house in AMK, then after my work then go fetch her or to put her in after school care.
this part is a bit troublesome for me.

if really need to, maybe will moved house to AMK there then enrol her to the school at AMK. but AMK not many pri school near to my mil house also.

$172 for pcf is half day? i rem i went to ask for lil sch hse near my plc is abt $250+ for full day aft subsidy

linda- which part of amk ur mil stay? headache rite to tink of the aft sch care when in pri sch. we tot of engagin maid by thn to help take care n cook.
 
cindy- $161 is v reasonable! our side half day is $650+! n also 3 hrs niah. cos lessons frm 830 to 1130.
ya for full day cc. i got a shock when she told me!

$172 is for 2hrs pre-nursery lor..how come ur plc there so ex....
