I called up PCF, they say next yr char shd be innursery lor and the lady is helping me to check BP ring road there still have vacancy anot wor..hmm, funny hor...Then appletree says char shd be in playgroup for next yr, then goes to CCK for nursery and K1 and K2 lor..
 
newbbi, Hard rock hotel. hee...no er ren shi jie la, my parents gg along tog with megan.bringin her there to play in the pool.

PCF is N1 for Char rite, coz Megan is in nursery next yr for 2007 babies. I think the lady means N1 coz some PCF schs have N1 but my place here do not have. Only 4 yrs then u go into nursery.

for inez school,
18 mths to 2 years = toddler class (others may called playgroup)

2 to 3 = playgroup (others may called it pre-nursery or N1)

3 to 4 = Nursery (other may call N2)

4 to 5 = K1

5 to 6 = K2
 
newbbi - some schools call N1 then N2.. some call Pre N (playgroup) then Nursery.. all different.. up to e sch.. as long as the sch know the yr ur child is born in they can advise accordingly.. just trust them..

Just called apple tree, they still hv vacancy for both sessions lor =)..The PCF lady nv called me back =(..

Air-conditioned one?oh no...

The playgroup one at BP doesn't hv sch bus wor, whereas the one at cck has sch bus lor..The one at cck is the nursery n kindy lor...so hor, means char will hv to enrol in the PG in BP, then 1yr later, upgrade to the nursery in CCK lor...
 
newbbi - the cck one is air conditioned.. actually GH is also air conditioned.. if u dun want air conditioned u must look ard i guess.. i enquired abt e CCK one coz of isaiah.. so tt's FULL.. haha.. n as long as 1 level full i cannot enrol my kids mah.. no pt putting them in diff shcools.. haha

cindy - okies.. hopefully there wun be any performances.. u can tell him he will get to play drums at shuana and he can be like lion dance troupe? haha.. must train so tt next time he can lion dance! hee.. tt's e kinda thing i will do lah! haha..
 
newbbi, ya, sentosa hotels are never cheap, he gets it free from his uncle so i dun mind going. if not gotta pay quite a bit.

depends on schools, for PCF is

3yrs- N1
4 - Nursery
5-6 - k1 and 2

so if u enquire for PCF, most likely they will put char for N1 next yr.
 
newbbi, think u shld not be too bothered abt how the shcl classify/name the class ie playgroup, N1 etc.. as long as char is in the class for her age grp can alr... and imptly she is happy & is learning well.

i see..cfm liao, i called appletree at BP, its aircond one...I was shocked to find PCF prices and appletree almost the same le...cos alle ewhile i tot PAP ones cheaper..haha..

newbbi - is iT? i thot appletree is quite steep? i not sure abt the playgrp but i noe the nursery is abt 1060 per term.. so u cfm gg apple tree?

i thk most likely i will enrol in nanyang coz no other choices ard my area.

crystal, ya lor, that's why i can 'siam' my P's qn abt enrolling kids to the sch while my colleagues can't. haha! nanyang def quite far lor, but if considering phases, the only choice i can get is thru dist for Fernvale within walking dist but i dun like leh.

so can bank on nanyang since former sch and alumni member. hb says better to have better sch and reg her in nanyang

newbbi - i not too sure.. u can go down to zoo, apple and PCF and decide from there.. i think these 3 are good enuff bah.. all sld be ok in curr.. the sch i chose is not strong in curr so depends wat u lookg for.. for me i was v particular must have play area a
 
See how lor.. Maybe go for hol n stay at home for a while 1st... But seriously nw I rather wrk thn take care of both! Haha! Tinkin of applying to wrk in nanyang poly thn enrol them in e cc there...

newbbi, the PCF there is non aircon? mine's aircon so i dun really have a choice.
 
ting - due as in sld be at e age to be attending sch? hee.. i guess if he is used to sch hor then u take a break later must restart gettg used to sch.. sounds a bit sian hor? haha

pierced - oic.. if u guys can send/fetch her then not too bad.. any other good schools in e area? i come from all gals school.. so we just hoping isaiah can get into the nearest primary sch (wh is supposedly not too bad) then will be easier for us..

my dad just told me the zoophonics teacher has feedback that cait can move on to the unaccompanied class so gonna let her try on monday.. (keep fingers crossed she will be ok!)

like what the gals mentioned, its more impt that char is happy in the school, rather than looking more at the academic and what they are teaching and char is not happy.

i also agree that primary school is the foundation of learning and if can, get into a better school. hee..

so you gg to be a SAHM again! how envy loh.
i also wish that i can go on NPL or be a SAHM for few mths. but too bad hb cannot afford me not working.

how u feeling today? Ya lor, i know lor, thats y hv to decide which sch and then go down to hv a look..Now prob is my mum not bery willing to travel with 3 lrt station to send char to e nearest pcf sch lor..hiaz..she asked me to find 1 which has sch bus..and the onli one i found is zoophonics...but the fees is really double..
