Hi ning,

We estimated to spend abt $20k on the reno but maybe increase abit if we decide to get a customised wardrobe.
My hse reno permit is out, lot faster than I expected, starting tml to do hacking work which must be completed within 3 days...... hehe. Estimated completion is end May.

for ur EG, i like the 1st red 1 better....though individual lah....but the 2nd read number more classic,very designer, and u look very slim and pretty! great figure....I'll give anything to have ur kind of figure....

not sure if it's my pc...but from ur website, to view photos, find the process of opening each pix a little slow leh...or is it just me and my pc prob? but when open the rest of the gals 1s like faster....btw, is it ez to create a site like this? on avg, how many hours u and ur hubby have to take each day to put all this up?
I just went for my 1st fitting 2day too....was really chop chop and fast...did it in less than 45min....the fit is almost perfect, but of course if I can loose some weight wud look better lah...

aniwae,i'm still super sick...finally saw a doc today...got very bad nasal block and kena infection of the throat....been so worn out the pix of my fitting looks so horible!!! my face looks mega shack, and i went fitting right after lunch....feels and looks kinda bulky...2mrw on MC liao....wud try to upload my pix asap and share with u all k?

my WG so far done is the bodice...the details have yet to be done, next week 2nd fitting liao...so mayb can load 2gether all and show...

14th i not vack from hk yet.....21st still dg PS in Paris, 28th on 24hr standby...but 28th got chance.....if they call me for early day turn, I can rush back to join u all straight after flt from airport....if they dun call me, bingo....other than that, the other 2days out for me.

Hmm, I intentionally wanted my PS like that. Those which look like magazine advertisements, so each time someone looks at it, they can have so many different interpretations! Yeah, i achieved.

Hahah, seems like many of you like the red CS-looking EG. But tt one makes me look quite small & the embellishment uses appliques. I dun quite fancy appliques somehow

Gd figure? U shd have also mah.. Someone keep saying u very chio & all stewardess shd have fantastic figures & heights. My friends & students all consider me quite tiny, I correct them, I'm petite lah.. hahahh

Pix load slow ah? No idea leh, maybe it's the server of the multiply platform. As for time taken, no idea! It's quite user friendly & I did it up all by myself. FH not gd with IT.. Each time sthg happened, or I want to post sthg, I dun rem it taking more than 20-30 minutes.

U feeling better oredi? Have a gd rest.. Dun chiong too hard for anything now..

I think parents of both sides will give angbaos to the jiemeis and xiongdis but you can still show your appreciation by giving them small gifts too..as for the gifts, have not tot of anything yet but bracelets and necklace sound like good choices!

Hi YSL, i agree that cool weather is better than hot. My hubby is one who cannot stand hot weather. We went to HK once during summer and winter. He loved the winter one and hated the summer one. complained and got restless very easily.

The parents of both side will gv ang pow to the jiemei and brothers. Jiemeis will also receive open door ang pow. We will still gv ang pow to all jiemei and brothers to show our appreciation. Ang pow the most practical as gift quite difficult.

I think i will get small gifts of appreciation for my jiemeis. To arrange a meni or pedi seems difficult as they are all staying over Singapore.

By the way, I thought of inviting all jiemeis and xiongdis for a dinner before my AD. Do you think its necessary. I think they can have a ice-breaking session so that the tekan session in the morning will be more fun.

Any nice place and not ex place to recommend? Haha..

Since, we are at the topic of Jiemeis and Xiongdis, any unique/fun games to share for the groom-fetching part? Usually, how much time is allocated for the tekan session? How many games can we play?

I will be giving all my helpers (guys & gals) a gift plus and ang pao (for jiemei it will be the open door ang pao). If our parents are giving them as well, it's a bonus! Now I'm still cracking my head over what to give.

Just want to check, are any of you ladies planning to give an ang pao to your coordinator at the BS as well? If so, when would be a good time to give? When we are collecting our gowns?
