i won't encourage ur to perm ur hair just for the PS, I agree with lynn, it's easier to style straight hair. Do you intend to have soft curls for ur PS? i think for PS, they'll use loads of hair spray to hold the curls, so, should be alright.

i dun need the time remaining function. agar agar lor. the manual actually tells you how long the washer will take to wash the clothes under different settings. my ideal washer size is actually 8kg ... but the next biggest for LG front loader is 10kg. too big liao.

what i do every sat, wake up, brush teeth, load 1 week's clothes into laundry, start the washer, do vaccumming, mopping, wash toilets, have breakfast and then the washer finish its work liao. then i hang the clothes out lor. the manual says the washer takes about 150 min for cotton setting, 60 temp. but i normally use cotton setting, no temp. and time save, so the timing will be shorter. i dun really bother how long the washer completes washing lor. as long as i finish all the rest of the housework first, then i hang the laundry lor.

cos even though the washer completes its washing, but you in middle of another housework ... you finish that housework 1st, then u hang the laundry, right ? hee hee.

one thing that may be good to have is the timer function ... something that you can set, say 6 hours later, for the washer to auto start the washing.

i think its easier to style with a straight hair, they can do many pattern lor..if u want, ask them to do a temp perm to see if u like it..for dying hair, i think its up to individual..for me, i am doing it coz juz want to have something different and becoz there is discount now..hee hee..

Is your hair the type that is soft?
I read from somewhere that on the PS day, just use shampoo on hair (with no conditioner), it will be easier for the stylist to style your hair.
I think leaving your hair as it is is better. The stylist has their way of doing the hair. so you dun have to worry. Or else they are risking their reputation as a stylist.
