The gowns in the pictures also dun appeal to me Then I asked whether I can take a look at their gowns, my co-or said "Can.... why not?". but she remained sitted, doing nothing leh... I expect her to at least walk to the rack and take out a few for me to see la... action action a bit I also happy right? She showed no interest at all...*sigh* No need me to teach her what to do right? so we end up looking at gown(covers). so disappointing...

i Paid $2938 for my package and Leafy why that lady treat u so bad and u have already signed up the package with them so she didn't even let u try on any gowns ah...really terrible ah, as for u taking up another photographery package, i would think cos we are not taking those high end bridal package it doesn't really make a difference cos if u go to those high end bridal shop, their packages would not include photographery so u would have to hire those freelance photographer lah but if we take up those bridal packes like EBless then the cost after deducting the photograpery really won't be that much..
so it's up to u since u have not paid up so much for your deposit which is the good thing lah at least if u decide to change to another package u won't lose out so much..

- I had my ROM on 23 March this year
- Had taken my Anchorvale house keys just recently in May
- I had signed my bridal pkg in IMM sometime in May as well
- Wedding date was supposed to be next year but had a change of plans as I will be studying soon , so wedding will be scheduled early 2004 I suppose.
Due to the change in plans, I'm confused with all my wedding preparations. That means that i do not actually require my bridal pkg so soon and my house renovations would also be delayed till beginning next year as well...me student and thus would not move in so soon to avoid all the household chores

Yup! I think design and build is the same as premium flat. Basically, the flooring in both Living/Dinning and kitchen are all done up. The bathrooms would also be done up too.

Think your problem is that your estate has quite a no. who had moved in. I feel that as long as they never complain and you are not the rare few then you should be able to delay it for some time.
I intend to spend a total of abt 40-45K. As a metter of fact, I had placed a deposit for some furniture already... but now wedding and house delay... dun know if they allow me to ldelay the shipment a not?

After I printed the confirmation letter for my ROM yesterday, I try to refreshed the timing page again to check it out for fun & was shocked that the time(10.25am) I wanted was fully booked. Some other timing also fully booked liao. Luckily I booked online if nt I may nt be able to get the time I want if I go down personally to the registery. Phew!
Right now, I need to call up my bridal shop to try my ROM dress, book makeup/hairdo, still thinking whether to get a professional photography or not? U gals got any photographer to recommend me? And many many other things to do.............

Regarding my mole on my upper lip, my office clinic referred me to Gleneagles. Today I went to Gleneagles but they asked me to go to Thomson Medical Centre for laser.
Overall it cost me $85 for consulation fee at Gleneagles & $300 for laser at Thomson Medical Centre. Heart pain leh...!!! But I think I can claim for it. I have to check with my HR Dept.
Doctor says got to wait for a week or 2 to heal & can't put on any lipstick
My first experience for laser, quite scary...doctor put goggle to protect my eye & I can smell the burning on my lip & the pain is like shooting yourself with a rubber many times.

Actually quite ok, near the LRT station.My keys will only be ready probably next year. Have not decided on any reno/furniture.But have already started but lots of small things like my fav Winnie the Pooh themo flask, towels, some bowls and tupperware etc. Mine is premium flat.Design and build are about the same, just different flooring. Mine is homogenous tiles for living room, wooden flooring for the bedrooms. Whereas, urs is ceramic tiles for the entire house.

Welcome to our '2004 sisterhood'. Hope to see you in our next meeting! Ehhhh... I will also be a March bride! Going to ROM on 28 Mar next year (6th anniversary of courtship) and planning to hold traditional wedding on 28 Mar 04. Wowow... seems that we are planning too far ahead huh.
Actually we have booked our ROM date on 24 Aug (my FH birthday) but my mum objected cos its the 'ghost festival' mah.... So no choice have to forfeit that booking. A bit upset over this cos they always say that ROM is insignificant as compared to the traditional wedding. But now it seems that the date for ROM also have to be decided by them!! Really scared that they go and see 'tong shu' and fix a date for us. Sigh....

My FH's sister's flat also Design & Build(Boon Lay). But her 4-room very xpensive leh, about $182K. So much more expensive than the premium apartments.

Actually CC2 budget for the house renov is quite standard one, most of my frens also spend around that amount but i know what u mean lah, i also hope i can spend around 20k for renov but of course after the furniture etc, it will def cost more that than that lah...wow...but u really fast ah, already bought all your Winnie the phoon stuff ah, so u put those in your house storeroom first lah...ahahaha....so have u done any research for your renov yet..??? will have to seek the advise from all the experts here ah..

As for the flat, i think Premium flats are much nicer cos they have wooden finishing, so sad ah, didn't manage to get any...*sigh* oh well, just not mine..got to be happy with what i have..

Doctor only put antiseptic lotion on my lip before I go for laser. I can feel the pain during the process but bearable. No MC needed as it is only a very small surface. Just can't put lipstick, guess what when my collegues saw me this morning & say I look pale loh.

Dun remember if I fall on the first day but had quite a problem selecting my ideal place e.g must not face west, rooms cannot face temple directly, not near lift and even got to select a few ideal units i wanted and ask his parent " shifu" to pick a few good ones!!!

Hi girls, think i read on the earlier postings that is some quries regarding the length of time we are allowed to leave the house empty for, my FH called up HDB to check up on this issue, we are allowed to leave the flat unoccuiped for a period of 6 months if we intend to leave it unrenovated or unoccupied for a longer period, as usual we will have to write into HDB and the approval will be base of a case by case basis..

In other words, they cheated pple's deposit. Wait!! don't throw eggs at me first. These are all Hearsays from my friend who nearly bought over one bridal shop in IMM.
If i don't remember wrongly, there is a thread on PRecious moments that have some -ve feedbacks. Go and check it out. Actually, same old rule applies to either bridal shop or ID or contractors, that is pick one that pple recommended.
