Hi, I finish my pre-wedding with them last year, i sign up during their road show. I also started to get worried as i did not see much post in the forum but u could find a little review about them in other forum. And all the negative feedback you found on other forum are very very true.
Firstly, if i am not wrong they quote a price in SGD, when you wanted to make a payment they will take out the old style manual swiping device to "swipe your car". They will also convert the SGD amount their TWD(base on the mobile phone bank app) and charge you the TWD amount. Things to note here when your statement comes to you it will be of cause in SGD, so meaning to say u are paying more due to the currency exchange. I simply pay nearly SGD 100 plus more, and thinking back they do not have a office in singapore and there is nothing much you can do if they close down.
When i arrived in Taiwan for my pre-wedding shoot, the bridal people seems nice to you and let you choose their dress. Kindly note in here it may be stated in your contract that you have 5-6 gown, but they will only let you choose 2 gown while the rest looks like evening gown. You can't ask for more or less.
Now the MOST HORRIBLE PART, the groom suit. They will let you know before hand to bring a white long sleeve shirt. Kindly please do so, they already know before hand alot of people complain of the groom suit it was the worst. Basically the company does not have any suit foe you to choose. Their assistant will direct you to one of those suit boutique get your" measurement" done. The lady inside the shop will ask if you want to pay more to get an upgrade, if you reject her request you will see a face worse than a charcoal. She will simply pick any 2 shite long sleeve shirt for you to try and if the size can't fit after 2-3 tries they will tell you they do not have any more shirt. Only when my htb started to get abit piss off , the lady then proceed to find a shirt just fitted just nice. Their white shoe was horrible, dirty and stinky. Basically if your husband have a better suit, pls bring it. (but it will be abit stupid to bring all your stuff over from singapore, whats the point of signing up a package.)
On the actual photoshoot day itself, we reach the company as per their stated time. And as per what other forum stated the MAU will ask you for ampoule and as what others say in the forum, they will say the ampoule is not suitable and request you to use hers. We rejected her request on it kindly, as we have already make up our mind to bring the MUA along (SGD250, pls request a MUA along) so any touch up will be fine.You will she her face immediately turn black and stop smiling. We are fine with it since we have already given up hope on this shop, we just want to get it over and done with. ONE good point the photographer assistant help the groom to select a few more jackets so that there are more variation in our photo shoot. The photographer and the assistant are they best out of all.
There are alot of hidden stuff they would not tell you, like if you like to take photo in some place they will say everywhere in taipei is ok. But when you started to look at the location before photoshoot they will then tell you. OH nono cannot go here not enough time to travel blahblah......
Finally photo-selection, They are very very clever... they will mix up all the photo to let you choose, making you confuse (you took the photo dress by dress so your photo should be almost beside each other so that it is easier to choose). by mixing up, you will have problem choosing. After the bad service from the 1st day we have decided that we will not spend any more money on this bridal shop. So during photo selection we decided to stick to out free photo. Upon seeing that we select very little photo the lady attending to us give us an attitude as if you owe her a million dollars. Luckily for us, our album turn out to be fine.
Overall, the photographer skill is good.
Very very poor customer service, you will receive a lot of black faces.
Very money minded(as if you are a carrot waiting to be chop), frankly speaking if you are going to pay more than 2k or additional photo might as well take 1 more photo-shoot.
The suit was horrible, gown ain't that bad.
For those who sign up the package, kindly heed my advice and be prepared( you may not face a similar experience like me, hopefully you have a better one.)
For those who are on the brave side(you might want to try the challenge, try not paying a single cent more for photo, MUA, ampoule, suit, gown and share your experience with us)
Lastly, for those who have yet to sign, i think you can compare more before deciding on it.
I am just sharing my personal experience with you, you may not like what i share. But this is what happens to us.
