Haha yes. I've booked my hotel and church, as well as get my gown and photographer. Quite kiasu because the I chose 1st July and it's quite a popular date.

Shangri la. Would got be getting your wedding bands now? I scared we gain/lose weigh then the ring size change :X
Nt getting so soon but looking around for designs haha. I think i kind of knw what i like. But the HTB might like something else haha.
We might go back to JannPaul to get our bands since my proposal ring is from there. HTB likes thier sevice.

Mine is from JP too! What designs are you looking at? I kinda decided on a half eternity, but I haven't decided the diamond shape & size.

IMO, I am concern with the dates, price, perks, reviews, food and most importantly, how comfortable are you with your coordinator.

Is the hotel you want at BOWS?
If it's nearing the wedding show, you can usually ask the hotel to give you the same perks (without having to wait for the show). It is all dependent on the hotel and how popular they are. If your date is hot, they obviously won't be willing to negotiate with you as much.
Hmmmm. One of my shortlisted ones is at bows! Then again, nothing firmed up yet so we are just looking around at the moment. Did the hotels want you all to sign upon first meeting (I.e using sales tactic like "if you sign today we will give you xxxxx"?)
My HTB and I just randomly chose a date so I am not sure if the date is hot!
For my pre wedding shoot we decided to sign with My Dream Wedding. Although reviews are mixed - generally the same few about top ups and pushy sales persons, we were lucky that our coordinator was not pushy - helping us out with what we needed and what we probably won't need - and he was upfront about all the miscellaneous costs~

My experience is a bit different because we already knew which hotel we wanted. From what I hear from my friends, they didn't experience such things as well. Everyone shops around for hotels before deciding, so it is quite a turn off if the hotel expects you to do that from the get-go? (unless of course you're attending a wedding show and there are extra perks there and then). Perhaps you can shortlist the hotels which you are eyeing first, and then see if they are willing to extend the wedding show perks to you.
Perhaps you can share which hotels you are looking at and then check the relevant threads/ask for advice?

It's good to shop around for a few hotels before heading to BOWS, so you know exactly what kind of the hotels/ ballrooms you are looking for. Furthermore, you are able to compare the different package offered by the various hotels.
I would also suggest doing site visit before attending BOWS to have a look at the ballroom (and bridal suite if available), because during the event, you can only gauge based on photos. Some hotels will ask you to sign during the event because their promos are exclusively for BOWS only or they may entice by telling you that there is lucky draw if signed up during the event.
As what phirahh said earlier, if your site viewing is near to wedding shows/ bows, they may offer the same perks to you.

Mi and HTB went to M hotel's Ideally Yours wedding showcase. Jus to see the venue and try the food. Food was nt bad and we toured the bridal suite too. HTB decided to sign on tat day.

My church ceremony and banquet are on different daysit makes it less tiring.
I'm doing church on the same day cause I'm afraid the rental of gown etc they charge twice... If you do both days then tea ceremony which day are you doing it?

I sign the package wit bluebay. They have afew routes depending on ur preference and location. From what i understand is the beach at dan shui.

Nope. Come tw to chose the dress 1 day before fotoshoot. Im currently in tw. Will update my exp after ^_^
