any expereince in going to Eygpt for honeymoon?

My husband and I were thinking to go for something special for our honeymoon since both of us are people who loves exploring , we decided to Eygpt as one of our shortlisted countries, just wondering if anyone has experience to share ?

I just went to Egypt.
Won't say it's a good place for honeymoon unless you just stick to a Nile cruise.
Place isn't quite clean nor safe.
Also, if you want to go, you must be prepared to deal with any last minute changes/circumstances especially if you go on free and easy.
Overall, Nile cruise is a great honeymoon idea but nothing else unless with a tour. PM if you would like more info!

yeah. Egypt is not as romantic as the european countries. there,s a reason why most ppl go europe for honeymoon too. but of cos if you guys are experienced travellers and adventurous, i don't see why Egypt can't be romantic!
