Hi, me and HTB planning to ROM next year june. Budget is around $5000 for everything. Could anyone suggest?

Booking of venue n catering if the venue don't include food will take up most of your budget. Photography is another big chunk too if your budget includes pre-wedding photos. Clothes can get expensive too unless you're looking at simple dresses or renting. Maybe what you can do first is to determine how many people u will be inviting because that will determine the size of the venue n catering u need. Then prioritise what u definitely must spend on what what u can comprise on.

Im planning for 100pax and renting of clothes for both of us. Possible?

Difficult, but can be done, you just need to watch carefully where different parts of your budget is going. For lunch maybe find a big enough casual dining place or big cafe? My friend is doing at food for thought and I think they should be able to fit 100pax. Once you have the venue settled you'll have a better idea how much is left for other things. If you wanna do decorations, can try asking brothers/sisters to help instead of engaging a company to do it. Cheap deco can be bought at daiso, and instead of getting a bouquet from a florist just buy a few stalks and make it yourself. I bought 4 stalks of blue hydrangea for $72, when a small bouquet of the same would have cost $200++, used 2 stalks for bouquet and the remaining as deco for the aisle and signing table. Can look for freelance photographers and ask for discounted rate if you're looking at 5 hrs or less. Might need to compromise on getting an average MUA as gd ones are quite expensive. Are u doing rom at the venue or at a separate place?

Im doing the rom at the venue also.. Like all in 1 thing. But my art is really bad so im thinking of engaging a company to do that. Whats MUA anyway?

Make up artist. Hmm getting someone to do the deco for u will be costly. Like, can go up to $1k+ because you're paying for manpower also. If u 2 have brothers/sisters helping out on your AD then might as well ask them. Within reasonable "demands" (haha), that's what they're supposed to do anyway. if u don't wanna buy deco stuff, maybe you can Google for deco companies and rent from them instead, so won't end up with props you don't want to keep at the end. If you're doing rom at the venue then that might save you some costs too, just remember to have angbaos ready for the JP and all your helpers.

Whats AD?? Normally how much does a MUA cost? How much did you spend for yours? :)
Actual Day :) mine was around less than 500, inclusive of trial, transport, assistant and make up for 4 helpers, and she tried to tame my husband's hair foc haha. But she's average, not too bad, but not top notch. Our wedding overall was a little more than 10k, around 90pax, lunch buffet and rental of rom venue at amara sentosa. He wore his own button shirt, dress pants and blazer, and I bought a white dress online for $40. Oh and remember to increase your credit card limit so you can make the final payment.

Are u doing gate crash and fetching? If not then it's the sweet tea for tea ceremony, ic and witness ic for rom, special pens for signing if u want, safety pins for wardrobe malfunction, lots of water, and have a heavy breakfast because u won't get a chance to eat until later. And extra angbao in case need to give extra or there's someone u forgot abt that u need to give angbao to. Guestbook if u want, and angbao box so u don't need to carry them in your pocket. Have someone u trust hold on to the angbao box also, not safe to leave it at the reception table.

No gate crash ba... Just fetching cos actually i already staying with my bf now. Then tea ceremony at the rom venue itself. So i need MUA, solemnizer, clothes for both of us, deco at the venue and food. Is that all?

Well it's mainly dependent on what u and your bf want and need. For JP remember to look for one maybe 6 months before your AD, if too early some won't agree that soon. Do u need a photographer? Remember to look for one early in case they're booked for overseas shoot or other weddings.

Do you have any photographers to recommend? I need one. I planned to take package for clothes and AD photographer, car...
