Gardens by the Bay


no no... the rental is $15.8k. the setup / teardown is only when you need a day before for venue setup. I checked with them on this as i have the same thinking as well. so for my wedding dinner, the rental that i am paying is at $15.8k only.

Ohh so the $11k is for an additional day of setup. Wonder if I need to setup a day earlier if I'm doing lunch wedding.. Or can it be done all in the day (early morning).

I'm looking at having my wedding there as well. Any things to note and suggestions about rental of GBTB? It's rather pricey for the rental alone.

How's the food from Rasel? Am looking more towards Peach Garden. Please email me at [email protected] thanks! :)

Have u met the coordinator? we like the place a lot, but found it quite troublesome to have to coordinate many areas on our own.. And can't find much info online. ended up booking a hotel venue instead..

Not yet, but we will be meeting them soon. (YES, I AM WORRIED ABOUT THE MANY THINGS TO COORDINATE! =/)

Will be heading over this Sunday evening to take a look; our friend is coordinating a wedding there so we will just drop by to take a look. I really like the place too. Hopefully someone who has had their wedding there can give some guidance! =)

we decided on St. Regis in the end..

Yeah the lighting at GTTB is beautiful! Will most probably go for it. Awaiting their confirmation on the date we are looking, as another couple has made a soft booking at this moment.

ohh.. enjoying your wedding planning! :) which caterer do you intend to engage? do share with us your planning journey for gbtb.. hehe.. personally i'm interested to know even though i've already booked my venue..

Yup! We have done the soft booking with GBTB and is intending to engage Peach Garden. GBTB is pretty sticky w their rules but Deonne from Peach Garden whom I'm working with on menu and deco has been a gem! We haven't really decided on any specifics yet though, so perhaps the difficulties come a little later?

haha perhaps you may not even meet with any "difficulties" at all. different people works differently :) congrats on your booking!
 
Hi everyone!

I've more or less settled on my wedding @ GBTB next Sept! Anyone can provide any information on what works and what doesn't there? =) Eg. the audio and sound system... one of my biggest worries...

It's an awesome venue. It's a pity that most dates are taken. Was really looking to hold mine there.

Oh you didn't go with them in the end? Yeah, we were quite lucky to get our preferred date as another couple had originally soft booked that date but later changed their date.

Where will you be doing ur wedding then?
 
Hi can I ask the peach garden is in door and has aircon? Is peach garden the only place that is air-conditioned? Is there minimum number of tables required as we only plan to have 8-10 tables.
