gardens by the bay or fullerton :) if they're booked, i'm okay with any hotels actually.. all pretty similar to me lol.
 


I am planning to tie the knot in 2016 too!! Hopefully the first quarter of the year! Currently sourcing for Pre wedding shoot n waiting for our dates from master tong! Hehehe...

I am looking at bluebay for my pre wedding shoot. But not sure the difference in Bridal studio n pre wedding shoot studios? Anyone care to help? Haha...

Hello, does anyone know if I'm allowed to collect house keys before ROM? My fiancé & I want to renovate our new place before getting married. And we are hoping to ROM/customary on the same date. But we have friends telling us it's not possible cause we need to be officially married before HDB release the key to us.

I heard there's 6mths grace to submit Rom cert after key collection but before you take your keys, you have to provide HDB with document proof that you already engaged a JP or banquet package.

Appeal. You may collect the keys 3-6 months before your ROM date if you have your ROM booking or banquet package as appeal documents.

If any of you are thinking of going ala carte, I have a lovely classy bridal gown from Amanda Lee to let go of.

It's a bustier ivory satin gown with lace, sequins and embroidery around the body, organza overlay for the waist down to the train, which has hand embroidered design.
It's just been dry cleaned..
PM me if you're interested! My asking price is $450, which is less than half the price! Negotiable for sincere buyers.
 
hi ladies congrats..... I'm also a 2016 btb but in May. just confirm my venue but would like to seek your opinion. should I have a real wedding cake or the cake?

I think it depends what kind of venue. I think for those who are doing those 3 course wedding dinner.. It might be nice to do a real wedding cake.

Yeah, in a normal 30-40 tables banquet setting, not many people really eat the cake anyway so don't waste food. My friend's cake is also just one real layer. The fake portion looks equally nice from far :)

I'm currently still at my first stage. Viewing of potential hotels. My Htb wants Grand Cop! But I'm not into the whole first floor/lobby's feel>.< Very bad first impression for me.. But we have so limited choices due to biz restrictions plus we have approx 500 or less pax. Headache. Hahas. The pricing and ballroom is pretty much attractive. Our other choices are Rws and Sheraton. Any opinions??

Hi Denise, I think the grand ballroom for grand cop is very nice! The reception area too :) sheraton's is an L shape with different ceiling heights so we didn't really like it. Haven't seen rws but generally I'm not keen on sentosa cos of the inconvenience for guests.
 
Any other March 2016 btbs? :) would anyone also have an updated list of nice churches that allow non-members to rent the premises for wedding ceremony? :)

L-shaped so the view is somehow blocked?

If you have the budget.. you can go for it.. but I guess you have to consider what are you going to do with the cake at the end of the day. Whether you guests can still eat or you are going to bring it back home.

Maybe you can try another geomancer.. If the dates are different and you feel it's nicer.. then you can follow the other one?

Normally they say once you follow 1.. don't go and look for another. Maybe the numbers though not nice could be suitable for you? That's if you believe. =)

i had thoughts about that. hahaha. but scully turn out the dates we want are really not suitable, waste another $100+..

giving ourselves 3 more weeks to decide on a date from the ones given. if really cannot, then maybe find for another geomancer or heck le. actually we don't exactly believe in it, more for an additional peace of mind..

Actually if you don't really believe in it.. then I think you can choose one of the dates that is more convenient for both of you. Since already ask for dates.. don't waste the money. Lol! :)
