what I know is if you want a tulle gown (more materials) or even more crystals, you will need to top up another 1k...

In the end I signed with Calla
One thing I do not like is topping up for gowns... currently I'm looking at Jawn but they only brought out a few gowns and I only tried 1 simple gown. they say they will only show me the collection unless i sign... which is not something i'm comfortable with.

I'm considering that (roaming PG with instant print) or instaprint coz of space constraint to set-up the photobooth (depending on my venue). Saw them in action b4 at friends' wedding. Fast printing & pro!
I'm kinda anal abt how fast they can print out the pic & deliver it to the guest. I ever attend wedding where the printer stuck, staff v lost. End up many guest didn't get their instant print, I waited 30mins after dinner end just for the prints. I dunno how the couple deal with the physical prints, maybe post it to guest or put it aside. I know I'll be disappointed if this happened at my wedding.
Thus far, from the wedding I attended, Livestudio & Mojoideas r good. Fast & good quality prints.

Using SingaporeBrides app
Yeah livestudios looked good but it's quite expensive to engage them for the additional cost as compared to getting the soft copies of the prints and sending them out myself...haha. As for VG, it's just more for the capturing of moments... even with no gate crash I'd still be interested to know what went on outside...

does it include pre-wedding shoot??

Hi, the package does not include pre-wedding, but you can add on to the package. I'm letting go of only the deposit of $1080 that has been paid, at a lower (negotiable) price. The original package is $2800, so the remainder to be paid to Digio is $1720.

hmmm i think most BS practice that... show u 1 or 2 gowns and will only show u full collection after u sign...

i remember i went to Z wedding and the bf ask the coordinator what happen if we dun like the gowns during that season... they replied that i will definitely like the gowns

im like - r u very sure?

I'm uncomfortable with that too. When we went around looking for gowns, I insisted on finding 'the gown' before signing. I think it's the wise thing to do before committing. I don't want to be caught in a situation where I feel compelled to just pick something...

i totally agree! but I remember the coordinator from BS mention that they can't let you wear past season gown coz it reflects badly on their shop... also that gown is for brides who are getting married around that time so it will be worn a few times... such gowns will be used for Photoshoot

anyway I'm not sure how true though...

good luck in finding that gown! :)

Hi Eiko, not really true, in fact I was shown close to 10 dresses to try (but only managed to try 3 becos the rest doesn't fit me, LOL) that's why I signed up with Sophia.
I went to Rico-A-Mona n the SA also shown me ard 6-8 dress which I only managed to fit in 2 dress.
IMHO, Rico dress n their package is quite reasonable. dress is so pretty. but their dress doesn't fit my body shape (im pear shape) so I end up choosing Sophia also becos I felt very comfortable with their SA n loveeeee their dress collection. Even my HTB's suit also really unique n nice :)

hi girls
just want to ask. i'm thinking of putting animation for my AD dinner, but I want to put our growing up montage and the morning highlights as well. usually, people just put the montage for first march in, and AD highlights for 2nd march in. But where does the animation fall under?

Hi hi. If anyone is interested to explore bluebay wedding for pre-wedding photography, pls contact me. I have referral vouchers which entitled us both additional 6 photos each (cost $80 per photo).

I can also share my package n serve as a good reference point when you talking to the bluebay consultants. My experience with them so far has been a very pleasant one.

My email is [email protected]. Will be offering $50 cash from my own pocket as a token of goodwill.

Happy planning everyone!

Sophia is pricier in terms. But really depends on how's your negotiations skills with the SA. LOL

I have quite a no. of frens whom signed up with them (I think 4-5) and has no complaints.
oh one perk they have which I really duno if other BS provide is that they allow one free anniversary photoshoot once a yr with one photo free.
meaning u can take pre-weds, maybe during ur pregnancy, after bb born, after bb starts walking n etc. which I think in long run would be quite worthwhile?

so far I have no complaints with them. I'm having my pre-wed photos taken in Nov, will update this page if I have any complaints or whatsoever :)

i am going down for appt with rico this wkend. can share ur package?

or things to look out? thanks!

Their package is quite reasonable although I regretted not bargaining for mother's gown. Anyway. It's inclusive of the following, try my best to recall:

AD:
1 AD gown
1 AD evening gown
(We did not take their suit, not impressive)
AD make up
6 corsages
Father's suit
Hand bouquet

Prewedding:
33 poses
2 gowns + 2 AD gowns
Suits (they allow me to loan one)
Make up
One album
Return of soft copy for selected pics

That's all I can remember. They quoted us $3288 without gst. Can look for fann and yenn yenn. Really helpful and not hard sell imo.

Hope this helps!

Hi Eiko, yes AD included.
My AD n ROM is on different day. therefore I have two days of 5hrs each of photography.
Is 5 hours of photography enough for the AD? I'm also splitting my AD and ROM, and those bridal I talked to wanted to ask me to take 10 hours for my AD  we were like...serious? Need so long?

What's your rough schedule like for AD? it might be packed for 5 hours but could end up just nice since you're splitting the ROM. Do they let u top up if u run overtime?

10 hours is including wedding dinner itself (or lunch). 5 - 6hrs is for morning, the gatecrash/morning events, whereas the remaining 4 - 5hrs is for the lunch/dinner. the photographer/videographer would take pics/videos of your guests coming in, your 1st & 2nd march in, your toasts and when your guests leave. so roughly 10hrs.

I think if have a full day of event 5hours not going to sufficient.
for me I'm splitting my ROM n AD but my AD I'm doing away the morning stuffs. So photography only starts during the tea ceremony before my dinner.

Maybe can ask for extra hours n see how much they are charging?

I'm thinking of doing wedding lunch, so if I start the video from 5 hours it will be from tea ceremony onwards till 4pm end of lunch

If I count backwards from 4pm, 10hours would mean starting from 6am, which is the makeup for morning session. Actually I'm trying to be a bit cheapo and hope by cutting down to 8hrs the photo/video can be cheaper. But I saw this amazing package by 12 Loves (VG+PG at $1,488 only) too hard to resist. Anyone heard of them?

Hi Eiko,
for me, most prolly bride fetching will be really simple. jus really come my place/hotel to pick me up then proceed to his hse for those Chinese ceremony. then go back to my hse for something else ceremony? i'm not too sure abt how the Chinese ceremony goes about! :(
then after that mayb going to do simple ROM.
still thinking to do, Yatch/book a VIP room in a restaurant/hotel suite/or just do at the registry. I cannot decide. most prolly i'll have like 10-12pax only. ROM only inviting close relatives like grandmother n both side parents.

bride fetching I think is my ROM date.
So for AD, I think I will just check in hotel at 2pm. relax abit, wait for MUA to come ard 4+ then tea ceremony to start at 6pm for my folks.
my hotel providing a tea ceremony room for us.
I've booked with Amara hotel. (Tanjong Pagar)

Heh, I typed a long msg n when I post reply, all went missing! :(
Ok, lazy to type long story now.

my bride fetching should be on my ROM date. which is what my shifu gave me. he said that Chinese ceremony is to be on 23rd sept (wed)
so wed, most prolly my htb will come my place pick me, then go his place. then do those Chinese stuff, blah blah blah la. then after that go ROM (still thinking how I wanna hold it, Yacht/restaurant/hotel suite)

then AD is 4 days later. should be just check in hotel, relac abit. have a nice bath n wait for my MUA to arrive. prepare for tea ceremony at 6pm. then go up change white gown n start dinner at 8pm :)
