Eint and Alvin’s Whimsical Secret Garden Solemnisation at Le Jardin
Eint and Alvin wanted to have garden wedding but were worried about the ever-changing weather in Singapore. The cozy little solemnisation, surrounded by flowers, was exactly what they dreamed of.
Eint, 35, Process Engineer, and Alvin, 35, Bank Executive, got married on 3 March 2025, at a venue that satisfies both their dream of having a garden wedding as well as not having to worry about the weather! The couple had a simple, yet fun and intimate wedding, and had beautiful photos for keeps. Read about their how they met and how their wedding day went!
How did the both of you meet?
We met each other via a dating app and were together for two years before we tied the knot.
Alvin: As a workaholic who rarely travels, I was instantly fascinated by her adventurous spirit as a solo traveler. We hit it off right away during our first meeting. She’s articulate, independent, and witty. We’re total opposites, but that’s what drew me in. Since then, we’ve travelled a lot together and really got to know each other’s living habits. That’s when I knew she was the one.
Eint: What I admire most about him is how responsible he is in every aspect of his life. From the start, he always showed his sincerity, and he’s incredibly thoughtful and funny. We laugh a lot together, especially at his weird jokes!

What was the proposal like?
Eint: He secretly customised my dream engagement ring and brought it all the way to Cappadocia, Turkey, planning to propose during a hot air balloon ride. Unfortunately, all the flights were cancelled due to strong winds during our four-day trip. But he didn’t give up! Instead, he proposed at the frozen Songhua River in Harbin. It was magical in its own unexpected way.

What was your wedding theme and how did you create it?
Eint: From the beginning, we knew we wanted a floral, garden-themed solemnisation. Though we loved the idea of an outdoor setting, we opted for an indoor venue to avoid weather stress. Le Jardin at Fort Canning was perfect. Its European-style décor and cozy ambiance made it feel like a secret garden indoors. We had an intimate celebration with 19 guests, surrounded by colourful flowers, which brought our dream to life.

What was the most memorable moment of your wedding?
I’ve heard that many couples get super emotional during their weddings, but ours was kind of the opposite. The 30-minute prep window given by our venue before the event felt a little chaotic, and we were both anxious, but once everything started, it turned out to be so intimate and fun, and exactly how we wanted it to be. We really enjoyed every bit of the way.
