Customise Your Wedding Flowers With Huahee For A Happily-Ever-After
Recognised for their bright and vibrant arrangements, Huahee is determined to spread happiness through their cheery creations one bouquet at a time.
Flip through any wedding album and you will see that flowers make an appearance in almost every wedding photograph. When done properly, flowers add a touch of elegance to any wedding, so it is not difficult to see why most couples choose to personalise their big day with hand bouquets and floral decorations to make their wedding unique and memorable.Photography by Chris from Lightedpixels Photography Photography by Chris from Lightedpixels Photography Photography by Mindy Tan Photography
But when Claire, founder of Huahee, was planning her wedding, she realised that there was a lack of options for Pinterest-worthy flowers for weddings at an affordable price. The options that were available for couples back then were either too conventional and unimaginative or too expensive. Motivated to offer couples more varied options to customise their wedding flowers without going into debt, Claire tapped into her knowledge and resources as a second generation florist, and founded Huahee in 2014.
Made up of the Chinese characters 花 and 喜, Huahee’s name literally means ‘happiness’ in Hokkien. From the bride’s bouquet to her solemnisation décor and table centerpieces, Huahee aims to deliver happiness through their vibrant and bold floral masterpieces. At the start of every customised order, Claire and her talented team of florists will take time to befriend their couples and learn more about their wedding and needs before recommending any flowers or service to them. Based on what they’ve learned from the conversation with the couple, the Huahee team will customise a solution by suggesting the type of blooms and services that are most compatible with the dream wedding that their couple has in mind, along with tips and suggestions for the wedding itself.
“For instance, if you are planning an outdoor wedding or pre-wedding shoot, then we will not suggest blooms that are more fragile and likely to wilt in the heat,” Claire explains. “We will also help to manage your budget for wedding flowers by finding out which aspect of the wedding will receive the most attention and where it will be located, and style the area appropriately to create the best ambience and effect at a reasonable cost.”
Besides taking the basic information such as wedding venue and budget into consideration, Claire and her team also considers how the flowers will look in different settings and light before recommending the most suitable solution to ensure that the flowers look beautiful in real life and in photographs. That can mean that your favourite flower may not necessarily be the most suitable option for your wedding day. “Ultimately, what we aim to do is to advise couples on the best solution for their budget and needs by sharing suggestions based on our experience and expertise without overly influencing their own opinions,” Claire shares.Photography by Antelope Studios Photography by Mindy Tan Photography Photography by Happyphotopeople
“Ultimately, it is about what makes the couple happy. All we are here to do is to help bring their happiness to life by marrying their likes and requests with our advice and expertise to come up with a unique, customised solution for their wedding,” Claire says.
Her sincerity in helping couples bring their dream wedding to life through her inspiring, thoughtful and affordable floral artistry is what many of her couples appreciate her for. In fact, they’ve become her regulars who go to her when they need flowers for celebrations like Mother’s Day and anniversaries. If that sounds like what you’re looking for in a wedding florist for your big day, then make an appointment with Claire and her team, and let them bring your wedding vision to life.
