Back To Purity Collective by Z Wedding featuring The Atelier by Jimmy Choo
On 25th January 2019, Z Wedding Design launched their Back To Purity Collective, which is exclusive to Z Wedding Design and CHIJMES clients, and features gowns from The Atelier by Jimmy Choo.
Z Wedding Design has always hosted star-studded, fashionable runway shows, and their recent one was no different. Held at the very striking Chjimes Hall, the venue was transformed into a romantic, fantasy garden by Seasons Glamour Floral Arts, and guests were seated on wooden benches as the models make their way around the garden.
Z Wedding’s founder and creative director, Joey Ling, had decided to rebrand the company with a series of ultra-chic, in-house bridal collections. This launch also featured gowns from The Atelier, Professor Jimmy Choo’s bridal collection, which incorporated elements from nature and are hand-decorated with exquisite French patterns. This is the first and only brand Z Wedding has brought into its bridal boutique and holds exclusive distributorship to. The audience was treated to a refreshing twist from past collections, with gowns that were bolder, sexier, and more premium than ever.
The runway show started without fanfare, which could be Z Wedding’s way of showing confidence that their collection would wow the audience.
As the music started, the models weaved their way silently through the path created by a very thoughtful arrangement of seats, so every guest could get a good view of the fronts and backs of the gowns. Tulle still plays a big part in this new collection, but they are used in unconventional ways that look great on camera. So brides who want to do something different for their pre-wedding shoots should definitely consider this collection.
Also very prominent in this collection is the use of illusion lace and intricate embroidery and beading. Although the sexy barely-there and peephole effect of illusion lace is not something most brides would choose, these looks have been hot on bridal runways of American and European designers for the past few seasons, and it looks like they’re here to stay. Brides who are ready to show their curves or who want a fashion-forward and bold photoshoot will find these gowns very appealing.
Z Wedding has worked with CHIJMES Hall, managed by Watabe Wedding Singapore, for many of their launches and runway shows. The venue is perfect for elegant and romantic weddings that look right at home with the striking heritage architecture that CHIJMES is known for.
Z Wedding Design is located at 33 Tras Street Singapore 078973. You can visit them here for more information, or email them at [email protected] to make an appointment.
