Jillian and Daniel’s Gorgeous Bali Post-Wedding Shoot and Celebration
Jillian and Daniel held an intimate destination post-wedding celebration in Bali with just friends. See their absolutely stunning Bali post-wedding shoot with all of the island’s natural beauty–from tall, swaying grasses to beautiful sunsets and lush mountains.
Jillian Quek, 34, Homemaker, and Daniel Lim, 34, Entrepreneur had always wanted a destination wedding. Since that wasn’t possible, they held a destination post-wedding celebration instead! The couple took some gorgeous post-wedding shots in mangroves and amidst savannah-like fields, before making merry with friends in a romantic gazebo strung with glittering lights on the beach in Kintamani, Bali on 24 March 2018.
How did you meet?
Daniel: We met in college, 17 years ago. I asked her for directions and realised we were classmates. Love blossomed from there.
What do you love most about your partner?
Daniel: Her big and genuine heart.
What was the proposal like?
Daniel: I proposed to her under the star-filled sky in the Sahara desert in Morocco.
Tell us about your celebrations in Bali.
Jillian: We held post-wedding celebrations with friends. We had always wanted to have a destination wedding, but could not do so, so we decided to go with a smaller group post-wedding.
Where did you go for your shoot in Bali?
Daniel: We visited multiple locations—a marigold field, a bamboo forest—but the one we loved most was in Kintamani. It was a savannah style location at higher altitudes. The colours at sunset were amazing.
